Nice review ofc the popularity vote won, I do like the yzf250 but every time I go to buy one I ride it, hate hos loud they are and underpowered.. sorry they feel rapid but on track getting over junks and hanging with ktms down the straights it’s harder also durability just isn’t matched to a ktm for long term ownership I keep going orange no matter how hard I try not too
@JimG1964Күн бұрын
The low and overlapped gearing plus the sound and quick rev limiter make you feel and think you're riding faster on the yamaha. Also, yamaha more forgiving if you pick the wrong gears in corners etc. so popular with your average rider.

I’m a KTM guy and always will be but the 2022-2025 YZ250s are insane
@michellatour1504 күн бұрын
Apart from the latest body styling, the YZ250 has been the same bike since 2005 (even further for the engine) and, that's actually a very good thing, great package so no reason to change it.
@EDDIE-c7f8y4 күн бұрын
@@michellatour150 Actually that's not true . The YZ250 is a completely different bike from 2024 onward .
@michellatour1504 күн бұрын
@@EDDIE-c7f8y As I understand we are talking about the YZ250 (2-stroke) here. Apart from cosmetic changes over the years, it's essentially unchanged (engine, frame, suspension) since 2005.

Feel like Betas motocross bike could've been added. Also if Ducati makes a 450 and 250 for the public in a year or so that would be neat to add to the group at that time.
@cyclenews4 күн бұрын
Beta only has a 450 at this time.

At only 100$ USD cheaper than any other 250F, the Suzuki isn't a good value. At least 500$ (or more) would be more realistic for a seven year old model which has seen no updates. Luckily US dealers significantly rebate 'leftovers' by model year's end but here in Canada dealers still ask full MSRP....and of course are stuck with them.
@OtisFlint3 күн бұрын
It's terrible value. The resale on a Suzuki is comparable to used bubble gum, making it a very expensive bike to own for a couple of years.
