I rode from Suffolk to Harrowgate, bike packing wild camping, last September to see some of the world champs...Got soaked 3 nights in a row. Epic fail. Great adventure though :D Poorly planned and had to get the train from Lincoln back as I was dejected, tired but kinda proud I made it there.

Big respect for shouting out Leicester, and even bigger respect for completing such an insane ride!! 🔥 I live in Leicester and have recently got into cycling, completed my first 100km ride on Thursday and discovered Leicester's beauty for the first time myself! 😍 Subscribed, I'm loving the videos, they're inspiring - be sure to keep them up!

Just amazing! I can usually do ride distance in KM to miles in my head, but this one was too long! Amazing! And in the heat! Good call having Dan ride in the car. Once you get to a certain point, you can't recover in any reasonable amount of time, and you're just a danger to yourself. This was the first time I've watched anything on your channel. Came here from Francis' channel. Nice camera work and the drone shots are lovely.

hi lads - im an intermediate level rider and i've planned a bike ride from coventry to edinburgh. I plan to do it over 5 days, camping along the way ( a mixture of camp sites and wild camping). I am a bit nervous about the ride - one of the things i am concerned about is the elevation, especially once i enter Scotland. I am cycling up the east of the country, so from lancaster i plan to kind of go round the lake district (hopefully avoiding too much elevation) - then onto carlisle - then to moffat then push on to edinburgh. what was your experience with the elevation? was the route mainly flat or was it really steep/ uphill in places? Thanks for your time
@bbikerlawrence Жыл бұрын
Hi mate. I’m sorry for slow reply. So once you get to above Harrogate, yes it’s Hilly. I don’t remember any outrageously steep bits but there are a few long and very open drags which slow you down dramatically. Sounds absolutely great I’m sure you’ll love it 🙌🏼
