I suspect there may be some riders who actually view headwinds as a welcome challenge -- like hills. But as far as I'm concerned, a strong headwind can make one or two miles feel like three or four miles. 😮 As I was sitting here watching the video, I wondered if there was a tunnel coming up for Julie to "Yee Haw"!! Two seconds later, there it was. 😊 I think anyone who rides with her makes sure to enter at least one tunnel, just for her. 😊 You go, Julie!! Nice to see a couple new videos from you, Paul. Looking forward to the next one. 👍

Agreed on headwinds - they are psychological barriers. I’m happy to ride in bunches with headwinds and share the front.

Great shirts, id prefer a more baggy fit. But it looks like I now have some competition in that department. Excellent No one likes headwinds. I found I get on better to drop down the gears to one that I can easily spin and keep my cadence rather than battling and pushing my way through. Holme Pierpoint is a nice section, used it a few times pootling home from Nottingham

The last time I had to go to Nottingham to work, that cycle route to Holme Pierrepont wasn't finished, but looked good like I would be good, as it was the weekend and no workers on it I did a bit of it thar was finished
