Josh these recent videos blending the cinematic areas you go through, the history of the region, and the insight of people that you meet along the journey is a very unique style. You’re really nailing it - be safe and good travels ahead!

Your videos are always so interesting. Always more to them than just cycling which makes them even better. Great for you to retrace your Dad's steps orcwheels should I say. Love how cinematic it was as well

Enjoyed that. Makes a pleasant change to the normal youtube videos of people cycling around mallorca.

Great film. Thanks for making and sharing. Really unique. And what a great lineage to your dad. One of the original vloggers it would seem!

Good vid, nice to see you following in your fathers footsteps. I remember him from the early MTB scene and his cycling journalism.

Really inspiring stuff! I always worry about eating well as a vegan while bikepacking in less explored places so kudos to you for doing it!

Wow! 45 degrees centigrade. I imagine I would just lie down and weep. A very different and more astringent kind of beauty than that I am used to as a temperate-zone-living-Northerner. The image of Lebanon appears so changed in this vlog from the war-torn, wrecked and supine gangland state seen on newsreels, and clearly it's nothing of the sort. I am curious also to know how local people think of themselves compared to a more prosperous antiquity, and whether they are happy with their everyday lives? We are divided here in the UK too, with class war and economic violence raging as I write. Some days I ride my bike simply to get out of my head and escape from my daily challenges, and that's what I'm about to do now.

I discovered Josh’s videos with his ride home from China. About the same time the Twitter algorithm sent me a transportation writer from the UK. I took me about a year to make the connection between the two. I’m a bit slow.
