It’s a popular beach down for vacationing. It’s a very narrow island so you’re restricted to riding up and down mainly along the main road but it’s a very cool place to ride.

Great morning shots and images. I really liked your sunrise setup. Just a perfect day for what you were doing. Palm trees are great but you have to keep them trimmed frequently. Otherwise they get burnt looking from the low lying dead palm fronds. South Padre Island is the kind of experience where you really need to camp out on the shore in an RV and absorb the total atmosphere as it changes throughout the day. You caught the morning lighting just right, as well. Gord

Thanks for watching! It was the first time I’ve seen the sun rising over the ocean as opposed to the million ocean sunsets I’ve seen.
