I've had 2 of these now... 1st one, one of the plastic corners broke off during normal wear after having it about 1 month of riding.. because the plastic corner cracked you can't have the strap on it and therefore it's useless.. tried repairing it myself with glue which worked for about another month and then that broke as well.. now on the 2nd one and this one no longer turns on or connects.. when I hold the on button for 1 second the LEDs just have a singular green light that turns on and then it just sits there and does nothing; you can't even turn it off to try again or to pair it to whatever unit again

Within two minutes of starting exercise [warm up!] mine shows HR 190. If I take it off and put it back on again it drops incrementally to below 100. I`ve tried several apps, every position, wearing it 5 minutes before hand to warm it up but it sulks uncooperatively. Sometimes it waits 10 or 20 minutes before leaping up to 190. I`m 72 and only do health maintenance. All I wanted was a HR monitor; no bells and whistles. This doesn`t just suck. It`s unreliable, misleading and potentially dangerous. So Yes; waste of money. I wish I`d seen your Vlog before.

I had that one, and now I have the second gen, plus a couple of Garmin chest straps, I had no problems except that yes battery does not last that long, i wear it in my upper arm under the Jersey, in the Texas summer help a lot whatever you dont have to wear even a chest strap, I wonder if you got a faulty unit, you know what, know that I remember, my first gen stopped working under the one year warranty, would not turn on, I wrote to the company sent the damage unit and they sent a replacement. You should try talking to them. No affiliation whatsoever .

Thanks. I will reach out to them. This is the latest generation and I've tried to place it everywhere with no good results yet. Cheers!
