Totally agree. It's a bunch of Cat 1&2 guys that cant crack top ten and they know mountqin biking is way out of their reach so they do this nonsense "sport." @@blastor8030 u are obviously very ignorant on this topic so let me explain in cyclocross mtb tires are not aloud but they are also not faster the reason the use a road bike frame is so it makes it easier for them to get up the steps shouldering there bike aswell as making it easy to suitcase over the barriers and the cx bike has much better handling capability then a mtb on this terrain suspension would only slow u down as well as add extra pound and finally on the ride section a mtb would get left on the dust

i own a cyclocross bike, and I Love it! But these races seem stupid, those muddy trails would even be hard to ride with an xc bike. And most of the riders look like they dont have a clue what they are doing. Cyclocross Bikes are Good all weather commuter Bikes but not for this wannabe mtb Stuff.

You could try to promove a spectacle by taking technical adventages not by waiting less errors in the competition... When you see more interruptions in a race than a pure speed competition, you may understand that, something wrong happens with the rules, the bikes or the track. It looks more like a joke than a race... I just say...maybe there are technical explanations, but as a sport, it looks so amateur.
