Just found out about this somehow but am definitely looking forward to it. Shocked that Konami of all studios is taking a risk on a AAA shmup but I REALLY REALLY hope this succeeds for the sake of the genre and studios involved both.

Brilliant modern 3D Space Shooter, thanks KeelWorks. That’s how they should look like. Hope that they will add a coop mode, for 2 or even more players, on the same screen and device.

Near the end of this video it is mentioned that this game will indeed have same screen 2 player coop.

@@NoisyPixelNews the devs once made an AMA in a shmup forum, so i'd imagine they got someone who can play better than this i wonder if they did it on purpose to portray the game's leniency

Hmm, generally not keen on Shmups where you can take multiple hits. It often means the devs are less careful when creating enemy waves/shot patterns as they have the excuse that the player can take a hit or two. Can lead to messy, frustrating levels.

@@NoisyPixelNewsI’d be interested in a PS4 version - there’s no reason this couldn’t run on it (definitely on the Pro), but for some reason it’s only PS5. I guess maybe Sony paid the devs to encourage people to move to the newer console but I don’t see why it couldn’t have been on both - it’s not like a shmup is going to be a system seller in the eyes of the average gamer.
