Reopening gives you more true damage and DR if you can't follow-up, so it makes sense Alfonse doesn't want guaranteed follow-up. 30% def true DR + 40% unpierceable DR on special + stone vein is gonna make him unkillable.

Allies don't lose stats from Great Talent if they move away from Alfonse, they just don't gain more. I like to think that female Robin wearing the same outfit as male one is a subtle request "Vote for a non-avatar/lord for once, will you?" :D Most rounds featured 3 lords/avatars, except 5 and 7, which had 2 and now 8 has "only" 1. And even then you could argue that Alfonse is also a lord. But that aside, it's a cool outfit and It makes sense for the same character to wear the same outfit. When I saw Pannete's silhouette I thought "A clown boots, so it's probably Engage character". Yup, that checks out xd

The felix sword seems like an weird pick, but i think they never give brave units their own unique stuff. Robin oufit also kinda strange, but i did expect it a little it knowing IS.

Hector only uses lances in FE6, Ike only uses axes in RD, Camilla can only use staves if she gets a staff wielding class through marriage/friendship and Ephraim never uses axes ever. So they did get unique weapons in the past.

@@Xertaron. I mean most or all do not get the prf weapon they are most known for, along with another outfit. Hector is not known as the Maltet guy. And Eirika does not use the lance of her brother

@@CatsLilaSalem Yeah, Brave Heroes absolutely are not restricted to their known weapons. They do tend to prefer it where possible, but they're willing to be flexible at times. Legendary Heroes usually are more restrictive than Brave Heroes are. Legendary Heroes generally always try and use either the main weapon updated, or they use one of the existing weapon types. This is not 100% of the time, but it usually tries to be a cannon weapon type. Lyn doesn't use Mulagir in FE7, however, there's nothing that says she's incapable of using it. I think the reason they didn't give her Mulagir is because you're not required to promote Lyn. Lyn gains bows upon promotion, and as a member of the Sacae it fits for her to use Mulagir. Looking at the list of Legendary Heroes, the only one who doesn't use "cannon" weapon types is Azura. Azura uses tomes, which she cannot use in any of her classes. Xander, Chrom, and Lucina all wield weapons that their alternate class branches use. Brave Heroes _try_ and align with the vanilla types, but over time they slowly phased out that idea because its a bit too restrictive. One thing they enforce in every Brave Heroes banner, though, is one of each color. The reason Felix has the Levin Sword I think is pretty simple--its a magical sword, and he's in the magic + sword wielding class. They could have given him a sword or tome, so to balance him out, they gave him a Levin Sword to represent both sides of the class. Robin IMO should have been Queen of Ylisse. Really disappointing they didn't go with that idea.

@@CatsLilaSalem True, but Hector can use lances, just not in the game his brave alt is based on (same as Ike with axes). And yeah, I forgot Eirika doesn't even get lances on promotion.

The arrival of Panette as a new Grand Hero Battle is another big mistake. 😤😤😤 We were expecting Miklan or at least Jeritza as a new Grand Hero Battle, NOT TIMERRA'S PERSONAL GOTH!!! 😠😠😠
