Cymbal Project: Shattering a Cymbal like GLASS. Wild Ending!

Shattering a cymbal like glass! Correctly and incorrectly annealing bronze cymbals.
First cymbal is a 19" Earthworks 'B' Reverse china. It was annealed properly, we hand hammered the tension back in and it turned our perfect. It is back to an 'A' cymbal.
The second cymbal is a Glory cymbal that was a 'C' cymbal, which means it was damaged in production.
'A' cymbals are those that go through production with no problems and are 'Accepted' by the buyer.
'B' cymbals are those that mainly don't 'sound' correct at the end of the production cycle. Normally these are reworked. 'B' cymbals are also anything that are returned by a customer. These are normally resold as used.
'C' cymbals are those that are damaged in production.

What alloy? It can be subtlety bent back into shape, most with some light hand hammering.

I'm not sure you know what glass shattering looks like... This shattered like a brittle metal would (what a surprise), not like glass. Also confused what "wild ending" the title is talking about. Still interesting to see how messing up the annealing process affected the cymbal, but the clickbait was a little insulting.

So it doesn't seem like it takes that long at all to get the cymbal up to the right temperature. Is it just a water quench or is there something else in the tub?
