Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian are behind many great songs and they deserve more recognition, so talented!

What's sad is due to ageism, music politics and changing trends, a lot of Cyndi's great 90s and 00s projects were ignored. There would be no Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj or Lady GaGa without this trailblazer. She deserves so much respect

That whole album was a life saver for me. I was homeless, lonely, gay and young and those songs gave me hope and lifted my spirits. From her albums after She's So Unusual I loved everyone of them and still do. And when I heard that she wrote a musical AND got a Tony Award for it, I was over the moon.

Cyndi Lauper was the first singer I was drawn to… when you’re a little kid and you don’t really follow music artists yet… she was the one, the entryway into something fantastic and no matter how eclectic my musical tastes have become… she is a still a very foundational piece of what draws me in and influences me. 35-40 years later.

She is a legend, I think the music industry does not yet understand her great contribution to rock and pop music. In addition, her voice and her incomparable style are like finding a needle in a haystack especially in these years.

I remember when that music video was playing all the time on MTV, and I must say I didn't hate the song ,but at the same time I didn't want to run out and buy the album or tape either. Years later I was driving really late at night on an empty highway and the song "Time After Time" came on and I had forgotten all about the music video and was just listening to the music and lyrics, I thought Wow, this is a great song!! It became one of my favorites I still listen to time after time.

great segment. I"m so glad the song/album/her have withstood the test of time. She is very underrated (still) and deserves a lot more attention, especially the 90's output. I love Cyndi / Hyman vocals on Cyrus in the Moonlight from the Largo project. Cyndi has many duets with other singers ... for some reason when it's her vocals alongside Rob's... it's perfect.

I don’t like to hear that cyndi underated and that this album didn’t do so good or what not. It’s a put down. And Cyndi doesn’t deserve that kind of talk when she was so very successful . Someone said the other day They couldn’t believe a night to remember was not successful . It was successful take out true colours take out unusual from her career and just pretend A night to remember was her career some artist a lucky to get the success of a night to rememember success like was a top ten album in Australia and had a colorful top ten hit on it. That kind of success alone what a lot of artist would die for and a world tour I went to 3 of the night to remember concerts I think she was doing 7 more but I could go to them all..! That’s a success on its own now add true colours to that I mean Cyndi has had enormous success...! No put downs please

I absolutely love this song and hearing the sort of improvisational way the music came together and the kismetian way that the lyrics are structured feels so magical. Hearing the deep emotions that Cyndi expresses to this day nearly brought tears to my eyes. She is such a special creative being.
