This is the cream of the crop when it comes to Beatles covers along with Sean's covers of his dad's stuff. He did a kickass job on Julia and Dear Prudence. Cyndi and her band are amazing in this performance! Love the dulcimer too. My grandma played one back in the day. Julian finally gave in recently after refusing to record cover songs written by John for years and did a cover of Imagine that sounds better than the original for a fundraiser to help Ukrainian war refugees.

I had met Cyndi when she was starting, and I took vocal lessons with the woman who has been her teacher for over 40 years (Katie Agresta)...Cyndi still takes vocal coaching. Her voice is ridiculously better than Madonna's...she only wishes she could have the range, control, and pitch that Cyndi has. There is no comparison. Complete apple and orange. I do give to Madonna credit for is her business saavy and her dancing. She is truly an icon, but solely on the fact that she knew how to merchandise herself. Cyndi will always be better vocalist...still to this day. Saw her recently 2 years ago, and she still sounds incredible! Listen to her song with Blue Angel (her first band) called "Maybe He'll Know"...she can still hit those notes.
