As a child in the 1970s I would sit in from of my dad's record collection amd look at the covers. Sometimes he would play them for me. As long as I kept quiet and just listened. Wow! I've never heard anyone do this cover of Donny Hathaway's song before. Donny is one of my personal all-time favorite male singers. As a matter of fact, he is the 1st singer that I listened to on the radio. I was blown away with his beautiful voice. Even today, his songs still touch my soul like no other. His voice was definitely anointed. Gone too soon.

One thing I will say about Cynthia, is that she really sings with her face too. That Broadway background truly shines through and really puts emotion behind all the words she sings.
