@@treydeason5753 well, you can say that being overly sensitive and taking thinks personally without a need for doing so is nothing wrong, of course, she was not 'evil' in that moment, altho she put on the spot an innocent fan that had good intentions making them look like a racist monster. If she did not like it she could've just said "Nice try but I think the original poster is better". Instead, she went very deep on something that honestly was not that deep, and took it really personally, without a distance to herself. She is obiosuly a very senstive person, an artist, I understand that, but you cannot assume the worst from a fan and just see things for what they are. He obiosuly was simply recreating initial art version, not actively disliking her eyes or look as a black woman.

I am *really* looking forward to this movie. I don't know the music, the musical - the strange thing is I could have sworn this was made years ago... - years & years ago... edit: ok, so not as crazy as I thought I was... a LONG time in the making - from what little I've seen worth the wait! "Universal announced in 2016 that the film would be released in theaters on December 20, 2019... On August 31, 2018, Universal put the film on hold, due to production scheduling" "On February 8, 2019, Universal announced a new release date of December 22, 2021, for the Wicked film. On April 1, 2020, Universal put the film on hold once again due to Universal shifting release dates amidst the COVID-19 pandemic"

I hate to break it to you, but she and this movie would be considered as part of the old guard of DEI. After Trump won, facism came out and everyone started blaming Trans people for Kamala losing. And then that folded DEI into the hate. This movie is not gonna do well in theaters unless they have some kind of advertising hook. The Hamilton movie came out very shortly after the musical gained viral buzz. The buzz for the Wicked musical has died out. Her instagram post against the fans of the musical really didn't help her or the movie's case. People have the desire to be famous and the respect that comes from that position. Because of that desire, people try to be unique. But special names and calling special attention to yourself is just drawing attention away from the effort of the whole and the individual. Alexander the Great was known for his actions. Alecsander Thae Greyt is just some guy hoping, wishing, and unreallistically expecting to be respected as much as the person who put in the effort and was special.

Which is a lesson she should have taken from the character and story itself. "She feels odd, she feels different, she feels -- she feels put upon. And I understand what it feels like to feel different and to feel like you're the odd one out, to not necessarily be accepted by everyone." Yes, the character was not just unique. She had that fame factor and she put in the effort. The character deserved a happy ending. You can't just be different. You can't just be Shrek. You have to put in the effort, go on that journey, and make friends along the way.
