I love your point about not over sharing every opinion we have. I actually sort of grieve the loss of that time (pre social media) when people were more considerate of others and more private and self-controlled with their thoughts.

It's funny because I feel like it's true but it's also the opposite somehow.... Like I feel like we *can't* safely share opinions anymore. So it's not a lack of self control, more like a social requirement to stay quiet if we disagree with the status quo. But also people get so worked up that it's become so personal. People are less tolerant and loving than they used to be.

The point about social media shortening our attention spans is so true. I also feel that my memory isn't as good as it used to be and I'm only 23.

4:44 The past year I've switched to white, nude, and black undergarments. It is so easy to match, and this is not spicy lingerie. Just matching colors. Boy does my husband get excited, and every single time he asks if I did it on purpose "Did you match for me?". Just some packs of single color or "natural" packs. Definitely a nice boost to my postpartum self as well! No Victoria's Secret model, just awareness with dress and being put together! Makes a huge impact for being out and about AND staying in ;)

Irresistible magnetic feminine woman…so basically everything that you are Cynthia :). Really though I think it’s so important to realize that traditional minded people will never please the other side. No matter how much we qualify how much we excise of ourselves we’ll always be seen as crazy or extreme by some. I see so many women who want to be conservative or stay or home and they just fold. They care so much about what their friends family or people around them will think. Of course we all want to get along with those in our lives but if they’re doing the wrong thing it’s not our job to follow them. Doing the right thing sometimes means standing alone and facing backlash. If everything we do is within the confines of comfort our lives will be boring and dull and robotic. We can be polite about it of course but the approval of some external force or person cannot dissuade us from following our faith or doing what God has asked us to do.

I've experienced that people are constantly feeling intimidated by me because of my works, my creations, my knowledge. For a long time I thought that I could make friends by helping people out all the time, but that just made me an outsider. Nowadays I keep my thoughts to myself until somebody asks me for them. But I'm not going to hold back myself just because others have low self-esteem. I'd rather have only a few people around me, that truly like me the way I am, than acting around people to attract them to me.

One comment I loved that you made is the comment on blow drying your hair. I started doing this after every wash day and it changed the game for me. Now, I must blow dry my hair every time because I feel SO much more confident and put together afterwards. My baby is due in June and I hope to keep up this habit as well!

Hi Cynthia , my name is Casey. I’ve been fallowing your KZbin channel for a brief time but I wanted to tell you personally that you have greatly inspired me to slowly but surely embrace my femininity. I especially like you since you are a catholic and I am as well. My upbringing was greatly influenced by feminism, I love my family very much but that influence was a huge part of my low self esteem and low self worth which unfortunately has led me to great suffering from people and from myself. I’m already in my late twenties now and this was my experience. I regret wasting time and especially letting people waste my time. I got the encouragement from Jesus recently how in the most sincere and loving way he’ll speak to my heart was that “you don’t need feel so inferior” Ive only liked what few masculine traits of myself and now I want to learn and appreciate my feminine traits which is a bit difficult since I’ve never nurtured them and as well as I never learned how to nurture myself let alone anyone else. That being said, my absolute favorite and most profound advice from your KZbin channel from you was this “ nurture yourself first, then environment, then people” You are a very smart women , I apologize for over sharing a bit but I wanted to share with you personally that you impacted me greatly Thank you

You inspire us with every video that you do, Cynthia. Thank you so much! I just got done listening to Eve in Exile and the Restoration of Femininity by Rebekah Merkle, narrated by Rebekah Merkle on my Audible app. I think you and the rest of your subscribers would really enjoy it! Here is the summary of the book: “The swooning Victorian ladies and the 1950s housewives genuinely needed to be liberated. That much is indisputable. So, First-Wave feminists held rallies for women's suffrage. Second-Wave feminists marched for Prohibition, jobs, and abortion. Today, Third-Wave feminists stand firmly for nobody's quite sure what. But modern women -- who use psychotherapeutic antidepressants at a rate never before seen in history -- need liberating now more than ever. The truth is, feminists don't know what liberation is. They have led us into a very boring dead end. “Eve in Exile sets aside all stereotypes of mid-century housewives, of China-doll femininity, of Victorians fainting, of women not allowed to think for themselves or talk to the men about anything interesting or important. It dismisses the pencil-skirted and stiletto-heeled executives of TV, the outspoken feminists freed from all that hinders them, the brave career women in charge of their own destinies. Once those fictionalized stereotypes are out of the way -- whether they're things that make you gag or things you think look pretty fun -- Christians can focus on real women. What did God make real women for?” Try Audible and get it here: www.audible.com/pd?asin=B07S75YL54&source_code=ASSORAP0511160006&share_location=player_overflow

Love to see you ♥️ absolutely agree about the lack of good conversations these days. It’s something I’ve been noticing a TON lately and it’s become a huge pet peeve of mine!! I’m always consciously trying to be a good conversationalist but I find no one I talk with puts the effort in. I often leave conversations feeling like they were completely one sided. Great tips and things to think about, as always ♥️

As an autistic woman with very different interests from the norm even when it comes to my fashion, I love watching your videos! Even if I’m a different feminine woman, you help remind me that, that’s okay and we don’t have to fit into any mold to be feminine, powerful, or nurturing. I’ve come across other channels who make me feel otherwise… I feel like for people like me, these can be sensitive topics but I always feel good and accepted here. Thank you for that. ♡

Since all of my friends are married with children I dont meet new people often. Love from The Netherlands💕

Hello ! Great videos! I had a question about how us women can stay feminine during times of distress or frustration! I also want to learn how to maintain femininity during times i feel upset, especially when I am beginning a new cycle and a little more irritable. Any tips on how you relax yourself, stay positive and move forward? Thank you!

My beauty routine? As a fulltime caregiver you can have my feminine personality but for beauty most days dressed is best. I will do hair and make up for scheduled guests but pop ins. You get what you get. I alwats cover my feet. I dont know why. Fuzzy fun socks or something but i think feet are not very lady like to see

I notice the distractibility factor with my friends. Often when I talk to them they seem distracted by their phones and not really aware of the moment. I find this to be the case with both men and women. Maybe it's just that I'm an older millennial, but I don't understand why people need to be on their phones so much.
