Not a bad bit of kit and you got it for a bargain price, just got a fox frontier x and vapour peak, now that is a banger it solves all the issues you didn’t know you had, just used it for my week in France and loved it

It's no different to the Trakker Tempest that I owed before. I can't fault it, but I guess time will tell all.

I've just got the Sonik AXS Bivvy Sytem.... To me at moment, Trakker Tempest, Cyprinus Typhoon, Fox Frontier, Sonik axs.... They are all VERY similar setup, but if the AXS had a vapor shield inside and not a wrap, it would be bob on, also price comes into it as well (£260).

I agree Paul, most shelters are very similar. There's some differences in each which ultimately is down to personal choice. The price is probably the biggest factor for most of us, that's what I like about the Cuprinus auctions.

ive also got sonik axs bivvy. ive now returned it 3 times. broken on delivery. broken poles on 2nd. stiching came apart on 3rd. now on 4th at the block is coming apart.. would never buy sonik again. shame really as i was really looking forward to owning the axs bivvy

The very 1st sedition had no flaps over the zips on the outside, so I returned for that reason (they upgraded with no warning), I've had the Sonik Brolly for days and added the Wrap for nights, sold the Brolly and got the bivvy system and wrap... Honestly can't fault mine... Only thing I would suggest is like you say the Bivvy block should be metal/alloy incase of any breakages...

If you got it for £400 that's probably about right price wise. At the £500 rrp, you are only a few quid away from a Titan T1, which is probably the best bivvy on the market.

Yea it's a fair point but it's a good bit of kit. I think people get to caught up with brands. Most of it comes from the same place anyway 🤣🤣

warning! Order with international shipping. I ordered the Cyprinus CapWrap Skull Wrap fits Trakker® Tempest® Advanced 150 Bivvy Green. They sent me a CapWrap that doesn't fit the Tempest 150. I described the problem, sent photos, at first they did not want to talk at all. Then they told me to send the CapWrap back to them, only then would they refund me. They promised me that they would also refund me for the return shipping! Yes, when they received the parcel sent by me, they returned the money for CapWrap and the contact broke off. They didn't refund me for the return shipping, they haven't replied to my emails in a month. Please stay away from this company even though the quality of the products is good.

Shame the inner membrane breaks down I’ve owned one for not even 12 months and daylight showing through it from inside leaks like mad utter garbage!!!!

I had mine for about 14 months, no issues. It’s gone to a new home now but was a great product for the price.

@@TheFishingBloggers I’ve been so disappointed with it looks terrible inside did find out some had issues but alas all too late for me to sort it out as cyprinus have gone bust!!! Bivvys certainly ain’t made like they used to be, my old aqua is still going strong and it’s 20 years old now, I’m reluctant to part with 500 quid plus these days so many have issues not what ya want when ya spending hard earned cash. But sounds like you’ve been lucky mate.

@@adrianlunnon3514 I’ve never had many issues with gear, I do make sure everything’s aired out and dry each session, I’m careful when setting things up and try not to force things or hurry them. I’ve seen ppl complain about products before yet when they use them it’s just chucked about. Not saying you are one of these people, but from what I’ve seen, and my own experience is that kit lasts if cared for, yes you can get bad batches and errors in manufacturing but as a whole, I’ve never had any issues. Sorry to hear you’ve had such a bad experience.

@@TheFishingBloggers i totally agree mate, I look after my kit also just been very unlucky I guess it’s the only issue I’ve ever had. Good review by the way just a shame I didn’t get the chance to really enjoy mine. Couldn’t fault the build quality just the membrane wasn’t up to the job.
