The BRICS summit declaration 2024 is almost equal to UN's summit of the future/pact of the future 2024. BRICS supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are part of Agenda 2030. BRICS supports reducing greenhouse gas emissions to combat climate change. BRICS seeks to create a new currency, considering gold's historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange. However, the functionality and acceptance of a gold-backed currency in the current global financial system are uncertain. Creating a new currency requires careful consideration of economic, political, and logistical factors.

The discussions on BRICS nations' use of gold are intriguing. People buy gold for its historical role, hedge against inflation, and diversification benefits. However, gold investment has risks and may not suit everyone. Investors must evaluate their objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation carefully.

This is a very good review of what BRICS+ really is.. It's not anti US or anti West but, simply a financial based organization that gives global South & other smaller nations another option than simply hasn't been there in over 100+ years. This would be the equivalent to the Bretton Woods conference in 1944 as the US being the centre of the world's financial power, & the US used this power and responsibility to make it & some of it's best buddies very wealthy. The US also abused this responsibility and lost focus of what other countries really needed, was open & fair economic development, not US imperialism!! This void left the original BRICS countries with an unbelievable opportunity, of fair & equitable financial system that has grown in popularity so fast that it has been a gigantic financial power vacuum. The US inadvertently created the BRICS movement with their own actions & I believe that this will be for the countries involved bigger than the Bretton Woods was for the US hegemony!! This is the world saying, ok US we'll give you 80 years if you are responsible you can keep the responsibility. However, if you abuse this responsibility it will be replaced with a more fair system... The US lacks the wisdom & responsibility needed to adequately address what the rest of the World really needs. With this BRICS+ conference being held & hosted by Putin in Russia is ironic considering that the US & it's corporations probably though that Putin would have already been ousted by the full power of the US economic sanctions on Russia. What an evil thing to undertake right Victoria Nuland & CIA?? 🤌😂🤌

People who think imperialists like Russia and China are part of the developing world, and that aggressively expansionist autocracies have any true interest in the equality of nations besides getting more power for themselves, are either bad faith autocrat enablers or straight up stupid. Autocrats only cry for a "multipolar world" because the free world rules and they wish they weren't prevented from oppressing others. Russia and China just play nice with you now because they have no choice and need allies. If China and Russia ruled the world you'd see what true unipolarity looks like, because they control everyone they can. The USA and the EU rule the world but they let everyone they can be free, that's not unipolarity at all.

I think he only says that as a farce because of the deep state behind some places where he thinks the moronic establishment doesn't look, he says something of the opposite, like there was one where he said the PLO diplomats were very respectful while he said Netanyahu didn't want a deal.

If Russia+India+China ( R.I.CH.)…united for a very close geopolitical pack (instead of the loose and fragile BRICS), it will be challenged to the West more. China has Manufacturing might, India has Agriculture culture/IT/Pharmaceutical, Russia has mineral resources/military/scientific knowledge….it will be a mega-superpower, however, the difference/disputes between these 3 have to be solved first.
@paritoshsumrao20 күн бұрын
Realistically, india-china and china-russia don't trust each other. So it will remain an economic alliance. Still it will be effective though to counter balance western led economic order. May be in long term having good economic relations would have stability in political relations as well. Still it won't be anti-west especially with india in it.

Change is the only constant. West/US had their heydays for the last few decades and it is now high time the deserving hard workers of the global south get their 15 minutes of fame in the global history timeline. Let us all hope that the transition will be without the bloodshed that heralded the dominance of the West in 1940's.

I’m seeing comments stating that India can never challenge the US, BRICS is worthless, the US is great, and so on. Funny! Why should it be that way? I know the US economy is in a strong position, but why can't other countries also achieve a surplus and contribute to the world? I'm not trying to downgrade the US by discussing history about how the US achieved prosperity during World War 2 by staying neutral initially and supplying both sides. If that hadn’t happened, perhaps the US would have been just another developing country. But history is history. As a global leader, the US should focus on supporting humankind rather than challenging others. Are US citizens the only humans that matter? I believe the people of the US should broaden their perspective and prioritize education to understand global responsibilities better.

The threat isn’t in any one or a couple of countries in this alliance. It’s more the fact that this alliance has been fast tracked and clearly embodies the grievances that America has thus far ignored. Now they pay the price.

It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days.

When men co-operate rather than compete, they will find a magic potion entering their lives. The 20 something thousand sanctions imposed on Russia have seen the unification of the 85% of the countries of the Global South in the form of BRICS and this has had no effect. I can foresee the de-dollarization drive take on an even faster lane than initially thought by the BRICS community when sanctions are extended to Global South counties beyond Russia. This would be the last straw. An empire in decline is at its most desperate, the case of the USA in 21st century.
