Is a strong immune system a good protection against cytokine storm? Isn't it better to have a weaker immunity, in order to avoid a too strong overreaction by the immune system? Thank you!

Hi Gianni, it's a delicate balance. Having a weak immune system unable to mount a response would be a negative, as you wouldn't be able to defend against common invading pathogens (that's why HIV is very dangerous). At the same time, having a hyper-vigilant, over-reactive system isn't good either. Balance is key.

I believe this has more far reaching viability and study in particular to Fibromyalgia and other autoimmune classified illnesses. Has there been study of testing I6 levels for Fibromyalgia?

I don't know .. but I do know that fibro is now found through genetic testing. A student in a university figured it out. Took like 4 years though through more research and to be written in the books. I'm no doctor just a patient sufferer.

I unfortunately ate a plant that contains a powerful cytokine apperently and i didn't know and still kinda feel shitty. I felt my whole body burning in specific places.

What plant did you eat? Thats not the same as a cytokine storm, thats what happens as a virus goes into your cells, it tricks your Cell into reproduction of the virus. When the cell explodes, it releases thousands of those viruses and then the immune system now knows a virus has been in the body and Is killing cells, is put into hyperdrive and unfortunately your own immune system hurts your body, your organs can be damaged severally. Lung tissue can be damaged. I'm an epidemologist, and this video isn't great for most people, he's basically reading from a medical book... Even i hate those books
