Thanks 👍 I find that many of my best landings are when it takes 100% of my full attention and challenges me to the limit. Some of my worst landings are in calm wind 🤷‍♂️.

Cool Video! A few days ago I did my 300NM flight from Cooking Lake to Humboldt and back, battled similar winds along the way, with my stops of CYLL and CYQW being pretty gusty too! Did you fly this on the 8th or 9th?

A little breezy on that leg, but I tightened my belt & I was fine! Are there any costs for flying into the different strips or airports? Thanks for letting me see a part of the country I've never been to. Your flying buddy moved out there from my home town. Thanks again and as always, stay safe.

That was the least wind of the 3 legs from Winnipeg to Calgary. When we left St. Andrew’s in Winnipeg we had a 42 knot headwind to deal with. I’ve been told that it’s almost always windy in the prairies. Thanks for flying along with us.

@@ronw59 most small airports have no fees, or $15-$20 a day for a tiedown. If we couldn’t land at Springbank due to the wind, I was ready to divert to Calgary international. I expect that would’ve cost several hundreds.
