That science class your mom is teaching seems to be a STEM course that teaches the basics of technical science and physics. I never had the luxury to take one of these when I was in school because my class was caught in that weird phase where technology wasn't as outrageously advanced as it is now but was still used for basic math aptitude programs like SuccessMaker

I do volunteer work at a shared school, that’s from elementary to middle school. The club I run is for the middle schoolers. We were playing a game one day where two groups of students had to write a story, cut it up, and then switch stories to see who could get the closest to the original story. Kid you not, one group had so much brainrot memes written in their story I genuinely couldn’t tell you what it was about.

I work with younger kids with my acting school and I’m like- I’ve heard some of these things before, and I have heard my own lingo used by younger kids, and they don’t even know what it means. So I schooled them by sharing my knowledge. I don’t like brainrot lingo😭😭😭😭 it makes NO SENSE. I’m glad I’ve only had a conversation about what this type of shit is with my mom only once and that was already enough.
