What the heck would drive them to add in the AI feature? It's such a streambait game, they have to know they had people who don't support AI in their playerbase.

I am shocked so few people are talking about it, I for one was fully turned off of getting the game when I learned it used AI to replicate voices because I do not feel comfortable having my voice replicated by AI, even letting alone the morality of AI.

I mean, the idea behind it is a good one. An enemy that actually mimics the players to trick them. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an opt-out option for the enemy and Steam's "this uses generative AI" notification being at the BOTTOM instead of the TOP of the store page makes it very easy for people that do not want to be involved with anything GenAI-related (and in cases like Cy Yu, it's very understandable *why* they don't) to end up missing the warning and getting caught off-guard. Also doesn't help this was added in an update, long after many people (including Cy Yu) had already purchased the game.
