The people hating on 2.6 during this stream are going to be so sad to realize it's just the beginning of the story about ######. (press read more to find out what the ####### is) The main point of 2.6 was to introduce ####### to those who didn't necesarilly read the lore, but even then I guess people still don't realize it. along with this, I do have to say, the story of 2.6 was pretty good, especially rappa's part in it. Also a lot of people don't realize it, but theorists of HSR all agree that the devs are putting the main story beef in the filler patches, From the uprise of belobog, The true attackers of the Xianzhou alliance, Dr. Primitive's against the galaxy rangers, and Ruan Mei's path to ""Aeonhood"" last one is a bit iffy, but she is hinted at doing so, or at the very least creating an Emanator/Aeon also the ######## is Dr.Primitive, we fought Dr. Primitive's Goons.

2.6 was slow at the beginning, but once you start to connect the dots and find about the transformations, rappa and Dr primitive, it's really good. I feel like people say it's boring because they don't want to read that much without some fight in between that it's only possible with meta characters or something. I like that they put these stories in between filler arcs, because it gives them something interesting that makes them worth playing. It would be even worse if they didn't have them.

@Ichigo2k9 I feel like people who dislike it due to the brain rot have listened to a ton recently. I personally never got into the trend of skibidi or whatever other brainrots there were on the internet. So the monkey virus, instead of feeling like brain rot, it felt like some sort of trance everyone was in. Basically, it felt uncanny. I can see how people referencing the monkey mind control to internet brainrot could make the quest much less serious from the start, and I think thats the main reason why they didn't like it.

@wollywogholder3313 Not really an exposure thing for me but more that I can recognise it. Like how certain words have nana for no reason, the words literally mean nothing special, or how a lot of TB's dialogue choices look like the devs have asked their kids what someone their age would say. And while I also understand Rappa's reasoning for the way she talked I also got tired of her speaking like she was playing make believe. I was also tired of Penacony by this point. I loved the story in Penacony but the location was getting annoying and the story making us go back to Loufu and then return to Penacony was honestly stupid.

Bailu being Baiheng doesn't sound like a theory anymore, if I'll be honest, especially after what was revealed during Jingliu's story quest. For recap, Feng (Dan Heng) and Yinxing (Blade) tried to revive Baiheng through the Transmutation Draconic Ritual, as per Jingliu's narration - it "failed" and became a draconic abomination in which she was then forced to kill. But the thing is, after that happened - Bailu was created. If anything they are strongly hinting that Baiheng did successfully reincarnate as Bailu, but since the story was being told under the perspective of a grieving Jingliu - the writing was written in a way in which mirrors the grief she has aka thinking Baiheng is officially gone, and her visiting Bailu is nothing but representative of her hope, and longing for a dead friend. If they are to reveal that Bailu is indeed Baiheng, as in verbally say it, it will shoot up a strong character development on Jingliu - which I doubt what they want to do so soon during the time Jingliu story quest came out, considering we always come back to the Xianzhou every X.0 patch - they will definitely prolong that storyline.

Nerding out a little but the other thing is Bailu has dreams about being Baiheng! One of her past maids hid this from the preceptors and she also hides it. She said she dreams of flying in the air and exploring worlds... like Baiheng did. It's something High Elders do...is dream of their past incarnations. There's so many crumbs about this.
