What ammo have you found that patterns well for ducks and geese? I’m having issues getting ammo to pattern well

I was told that the shims are also supposed to cast on or off the stock? Is that true? How is the foregrip? Does it feel flimsy?
@dennis2685 жыл бұрын
Danilo Valencia not sure about the shims, I still haven’t messed with them. As far as the foregrip, it is more narrow compared to others that I have used. It does feel very nice and firm while shooting

Did this come in a hard case?

Yes. Just like the one in the video.

Short cheap plastic hard case but better than cardboard box alone.

I love this gun

I don’t really understand why people are so excited about the extended charging handle. You really only use that one time when initially loading or unloading your gun because it’s gonna lock back when empty anyway. Just seems like something not worth worrying about

After a few hours of bird hunting on a 5 degree day it will be nice to have. I'm going to find out!

For those that shoot 3” shells, the CZ 1012 while chambered for 3” and a capacity of 4 + 1, will only hold 3+ 1 capacity of the 3” shells ..

They are selling this shotgun at Europe by the name of Huglu Renova. If i don`t remember wrong Huglu produces CZ shotguns in Turkey. Can you do more in depth review when you have took the weapon to range and shot with it?
@dennis2685 жыл бұрын
PowerfulTAE I’ll be doing a more in-depth review later on. Still only have about 250 rounds through it.
@garyK.45ACP5 жыл бұрын
Huglu is a Turkish manufacturer. The same gun will be available for lower cost under the Huglu name, or one of the other marketers that sell Huglu guns.

my handguard creaks slightly when handling the gun...assuming this is normal. i've toyed with tightening the mag cap all the way and or tightening just to the clicks. the manual isn't too concise with regard to this or oiling and cleaning for that matter. anyway, good vid.
@JoeLeone6365 жыл бұрын
I'm picking mine up in a couple of days and am hoping not to be disappointed with the quality. What are your impressions of the gun besides the creaky fore-end?
@HBeretta5 жыл бұрын
@@JoeLeone636 you won't be disappointed at all...especially for $600. The mag cap, just tighten to the clicking sound and maybe another turn or two, don't tighten all the way down but check yours out of box to see how far it's tightened. I believe the spring on the mag cap keeps the tension on hanguard to keep it flush to the barrel and receiver. The handguard is notched and fits flush to receiver with no seams or gaps so check for gaps when putting together. Also, the gun comes setup for 2+1 so remove the silver mag tube pin once you remove the mag cap to make the gun 4+1...should come out easily. I bought a quake clawz sling for mine and noticed the studs on my gun had a smaller hole diameter on the rear stud just slightly. I had the put some gun oil on the sling pin and tap it in gently on the mag cap stud. This unfortunately turned out to be a mistake on the stock stud. A couple of taps with a rubber mallet and the sling pin lodged itself flush on one side, so I couldn't punch out; had to get a small drill bit and drilled into sling pin...then went up in bit sizes. All that was needed was to run a drill bit with oil through the stock stud from from the get go...lesson learned. The stock stud did turn slightly in the process of removing pin, a tiny amount of blue loctite did the trick as i backed it all the way out to apply. Again, nothing anywhere online or on cz site regarding sling compatibility...and the quake sling is setup for standard size studs so be aware. Again, drill bit with oil did trick on stock stud...mag cap stud was fine. Otherwise, gun has shot flawlessly and doesn't get dirty...they weren't kidding. I mean you really don't have to clean the gun. After 500 rnds of target ammo, bore looks like I haven't shot the gun. All you need to do really is clean choke threads. Huge plus is the 5 choke tubes. The trigger is lighter than expected compared to other shotguns in this pricepoint. I also like how the charging handle removes so easily but feels like it's fixed solid when inserted. Make sure the bolt is locked back when you remove and install the barrel. If not, no worries...you can work the bolt back. Just be sure to lock bolt back to avoid this headache. Overall it feels like I got a $1200 benelli for $600...very very happy with this gun. CZ is like the toyota of guns...nothing terribly fancy but super reliable.

@@HBeretta Thank you for the thorough response! I'll be taking delivery on Tuesday and can't wait to put it through its paces. 👍

@@JoeLeone636 No problem...if you do run a sling the mag cap will get scuffed up, but hey they're not meant to stay pretty.

If you have a proper cheek weld you shouldn’t be looking at the “dot” anyway. Often a shotgun shooting instructor will cover up the “dot” so you can’t see it if they think you’re looking at the “dot”!
