Is this CZ 457 Synthetic Rimfire Rifle a good alternative to the Tikka T1X MTR, or is the latter still a better rifle for target shooting due to the thicker barrel? The barrel in the CZ 457 Synthetic seems rather thin compared to the ones that come with the CZ 457 Varmint or CZ 457 Varmint MTR.

I think the 20“ is a little bit more accurate at longer ranges but i will ask in the shootingstore because next time i will buy one when i go there

Stupid Question Alert!! I bought a CZ 457 .17HMR Synthetic last year and haven't had time to set it up properly yet. If there is a 'most common way' of doing things is it a case of getting a Harris type bipod fitting and it just fits over either of the moulded sling mounts available. Thanks in advance if anyone can offer advice.

Is just just got the suppressor ready version with the same synthetic stock... I’m disappointed in the stock. So cheap and cheesy. The stock is stiffer than other budget rifle stocks but its still a bit flimsy. And the molded in sling studs are lame. The hollow butt portion is great for keeping it light but it sounds hollow and is annoying.

I bought this but have zero thoughts on keeping the stock. I got it cause it was $450 for a 20" threaded cz457. I'm buying a KRG bravo chassis to drop it in. Going to have an awesome suppressor ready and accurate .22lr for about $800.
