I went with CZ S2 OPTICS READY. I am installing CGW SAO Conversion Kit With Trigger , CGW 11# Recoil Spring , CZ Left Side / Oversized Shielded Safety , CGW RMR Footprint Optics Plate , and LOK Veloce Palm Swell Target Grips . All parts have been ordered and waiting to receive so I can install . CGW did my SP01 SAO Optics Ready. Trigger pull is 1.8#s. Obviously SP01 has FPB so it will never be as clean as S2 but the trigger is still freaking awesome. Hopefully I'll have all the parts in the next 10 days or so . I'm hoping to have it all done by March 3rd because that's my next Match lol.. After shooting couple S2 SAO and TS2 Orange I'm a believer in CZ lol. I prefer the CZ over a 2011 due to CZ75 being more durable / reliable. CGW did all the work on my SP01 because they needed to do OPTICS cut . I'll be doing the SAO Conversion for the S2 . I cannot wait until it's done

@@ishootguns I did trigger guard under cut with my SP01 . The SAO SP01 Trigger will never as nice as S2 due to the Firing Pin Block . It's still absolutely phenomenal. You'd have to take out the FPB to get that S2 SAO trigger feel . I love the SP01 Grip especially with LOK VELOCE Palm Swell Grips but I'm also not a fan of the circle shaped trigger guard on the SP01 . I prefer the more square trigger guard. I have super aggressive grip so that's a preference when it comes to trigger guard.

David directly stated that if I couldn't skillfully use a Dremel to remove approximately .0035" from the 1489-T6 disconnector, I shouldn't be working on my Shadow 2. This directness was unwelcomed. In contrast, Eemann Tech’s $80 Ultimate Disconnector provided a hassle-free, drop-in installation and stellar customer service, a refreshing experience from the earlier disappointment.

I had a similar experience. Eemann parts have been smooth sailing for me but the hammer pins sold by CGW for their race hammers are way too tight of a fit, requiring the customer to compensate for the poor tolerances by hammering it in with specific tools/surface/technique.

@@ishootguns probably in trigun only being SA. Carry Optics I’m not sure cause we don’t have USPSA here in Brazil but I think it has to be DA or SF. You could obviously use it in Open division but would be in great disadvantage. Great looking gun, after I saw yours I started thinking to hard chrome my Shadow 2 that my wife uses. Congrats, best looking Shadow 2 I’ve ever seen. I encourage you to race it.

Why would you buy the Shadow 2 ORANGE if you were going to completely change everything. You would just buy a stock Shadow 2 or SPO1. The orange has so much additional trigger work and features I would never have started with a fully upgraded orange model, but other than the teal and over 4 grand price tag, it's really beautiful 👍
