Maybe it's just because I'm biased towards CZ, but by far, in my honest opinion, this shotgun feels far better than any Browning O/U I've ever handled and shot. If I ever buy a O/U, this will be it.

Need to make this model with ejectors even if it raised the price slightly i would buy one, i have been looking for light weight over under for hunting, i just can't bring myself to hunt with my 2,000 dollar Browning 725.

Being a lightweight 12ga. what is the best shells for upland and small game
@czusafirearms9 жыл бұрын
+NOC1TIME It's hard to beat the Fiocchi Golden Pheasant for upland game. Their 2 3/4" load does well on pheasants and quail without terrific recoil, and they're middle of the pack when it comes to price. Thanks!

+czusafirearms Hey thanks for getting back appreciated. I will indeed give them a try. I picked a few boxes of RST 2 3/4 6's. For an upcoming hunt. But will try them next time out. I did get 3 boxes of Golden Pheasant 6's for my 28ga. Can't wait to try that. Sure would love to be able to get a straight english stock for my Upland Ultralight from CZ ?

how is the recoil on this gun? I would love to shoot it before I buy it. Is there a rep in AZ?

+Steven Schultz For hunting where you only take a couple shots at a time it's perfect, but it's not a gun we'd recommend for much more than a round of trap, if that makes sense. Give Jeff an email to see if he can locate one near you, jeff@cz-usa.com. Thanks!

+czusafirearms what are some of the budget CZ O/U for clays? what's a good $500 to a $1000? And what's a good $1000 to $1500? Also is there a way for someone to try the CZ guns before a purchase. I am in AZ, do you have reps here?

+Steven Schultz I bought one several months ago. I like it. Had it out on pheasant once. Keep in mind when they say the lightest 12ga OU out there they are right. at 6+ lbs There are recoil issues. It is chambered for 3 in shells. I could not see any upland or small game applications that would call for a 3in shell but it will shoot'em. Stay with some medium pressure stuff. Or low pressure stuff if you are a solid shooter . Looks great. Great machining. It's a very solid field gun for the cost. I would go with the 28in barrel. Comes in a simple cardboard box. A nice hard case would be would be a nice addition. That's why it's under like 900.00 bucks. Not a better buy out there. The cool part is having one

+Steven Schultz Sorry for the slow reply. For a budget gun, check out our Drake ($629), or if you want a little nicer gun under $1k, a Redhead Premier or Upland Sterling would be great. If you're wanting a dedicated clays gun without breaking $1500, the Redhead Premier Target is hard to beat for the money. If you have any more questions, hit us up at info@cz-usa.com since we don't check our KZbin comments nearly often enough. Thanks!
