but they tend to stick to the ground - so, if one does em for the first time - remember to "cut" em loose from the bottom

@@easygroove No. Don´t do that. You will open and destroy them like that. I am Czech, I just made them. After you add them to the boiling (I repeat boiling) water with large springing bubbles on top, take a wooden spoon and lightly stir the water under the dumplings to make them move. Do it ever so often in the first 3 minutes, or tehy will stick to the ground, and be very gentle, or they will break apart. To prevent them from breaking apart, put a little bit of the flour you used into the boiling water. It will act like a glue that will hold the dumplings together.After tehy start floating, WAIT ANOTHER 2-3 minutes, or they willbe raw around the inner part of the fruit inside, and the fruit will be uncooked. Only then you can take them out.

@@Calucifer13 of course - when i wrote "cut away" - i meant carefull with a spoon or something - yeah, i cook them too from time to time- hard to get that "dry" "tvaroch" here ;-) best regards
