I always look forward to your well-presented videos. I love the czech language and have a serious approach to learning it. I'm sure, like a jigsaw puzzle, all the pieces will come together in the end!

And I always look forward to the comments! Thank you and rest assured that even with irregular regularity in learning, you will make progress. If the Czech can do it, you surely can!!!

Thank you for dedramatizing all this. It sounds so simple with you. You remind me the czech grammar I bought for one of my classes, but without any aridity at all.

Thank you for the lessons. Your lessons are really helpful for me as they clear many things that were confusion me earlier. Specially with explaining the pattern.

This is enormous! It does sound so much clearer and simpler than in my textbook... You make me always feel better with your humour and your little winks and (very beautiful) faces!!!

@@CzechforGary Back home in Australia my family dog is a samreiver. A samoyed cross with a golden retriever :) Could you please make a video on czech adjectives? I understand singular adjectives changing the ending to A, Y,E for the 3 genders. Struggling with czech plurals and there are no videos on the internet. Thanks !

@@Dave-fr2ep I have never heard of Samoyed - it sounds Russian: samo = auto (as in samovar - auto(matic) boil(er)) and yed - jed - related to eating or poison?? After research, it appears majestuous! And I shall add adjectifs and plurals to the list. Thanks for your suggestion!

Dobrý den. (this is a multi-language comment) ;-) Your videos are great for me to review Czech grammar. Naučil jsem se češtinu několik let zpátky. Teď se snažím opakovat to, co jsem se naučil. Advanced declension has always given me trouble: 1. masc. inanimate singular nouns, I am never sure when to use u or ě (hradu nebo hradě, mostu nebo mostě, lesu nebo lese). 2. Mon autre bête noire, ce sont des noms masculins animés au singulier, dans le datif et locatif: u nebo ovi? Would you consider using your amazing teaching and production style to explain those two topics?
@CzechforGary4 жыл бұрын
Quick answer - 1. both are possible in the locative; pour la bête noire (2.), u est une forme ancienne ou poétique, peu utilisée de nos jours, tandis que ovi est d'usage courant. Mais c'est une idée à laquelle je n'aurais pas pensé spontanément, donc merci !
