wow. insane quality on a stamped text. Whats the TD on the barrel? How many texture sets do you have? Im always trying to get everything into a single uv tile and getting approx 110 TD on a 4K tile when making pistols. I then increase manually uv islands when the text or normal details will be to approx. 180 TD. Thanks for uploading its a damn shame that you dont have the subcount you deserve (yet).

I can't recall the exact TD off the top of my head, but it would have been the maximum I could afford based off having enough padding between UV islands to stop bleeding / issues down the mip chain. The TD will be the same throughout for visual consistency. It would have be all in a single UV tile, no UDIMS, single shader, I'm pretty sure it was a 4k texture (it was awhile ago!).
