Czech In Effect gallantly explores a coloured neighborhood where he eats beef bilong, steak or beef/sausage and pap from Monic Store.[For $3.00, that is a lot of food!] There- he conversed with immensely opinionated coloured men especially Peter Lynch. [ Lynch needs to be more circumspect and cognizant not to generalized all Nigerains.]He should be a politician. Additionally- Czech In Effect features the artist and proprietor of Badass. The hats and shirts are dope. Question: Would you consider visiting Indian, White African, and Chinese South African neighborhoods? I would like to see more of the inside of the South African houses and have South Africans prepare you a home cooked meal.

@@sammyluciano1924why would Africans be Nigerian or to be. You can never compared the two.... Nigerians when they come to south africa they feel they are in Europe because we have everything. If you as a Nigerian you come here to do bad shit you must be deported back. There's other African countries you can go to.... We can't take the whole African countries and to live here. There governments should be doing better for them...

Locals never explore outside the places they grew up like the way foreigners do if you ask this coloured guys they only know life in that community or neighbourhood same as the blacks they is too much divided and rule it takes a foreigner to brake that because they don't see any boundaries same even in UK most people just know 1 place they live and they are OK like that 40years someone will never bother to go to the next town because they have all the conveniences they want there.

In general we are between stage 2 to 5 of load shedding. State 2 means they will take 2 hours a day per area. Now if they go to stage 4 they will take 2 hours time 2 a day with a break of over 8-10 hours. Anyone without power for more than 2 hours at a time will be due to an unscheduled outage, like stolen or fried infrastructure. Now, it the grid is severely constrained, then they can go to stage 6 where it is possible to have 1 4 hour outage and the other is 2 hours. This is done to prevent a grid collapse and a consequence many power stations failing at the same time. We've not always had a power issues, it started around 2007-2009. Here are the most talked about reasons behind it. 1. Corrupt politicians paying people to sabotage the systems so they can get contracts to fix it. 2. Theft of coal, state utility pays you to deliver a certain amount of coal, you supply half of that and mix it with rocks. 3. Lack of maintenance owing to theft of funds where a politically connected gets a supply contract at highly inflated prices. 4.Aging infrastructure. 5. Poor planning and lack of new power stations rollout. Our infrastructure was designed to supply a small portion of the society by apartheid government, now majority had to be brought onboard, so now have to take units offline to do maintenance as we no longer have the provision you previously had with a smaller pool.

Study African American history and the history of South Africa, it will blow your mind. These similarities from the 16th century ( slavery, colonization and mental conditioning) up until the present day has welded us together more than many of us know. Even the small nuances of both of our cultures are known by each other. The only difference is that the South Africans were not removed from the continent and they kept their language and segment of their indigenous culture. Where as in America that was destroyed in our culture. But, then again we are still moving onwards and upwards, our destiny and energy cannot be stopped.

Nice vid. When I went to Africa in Zanzibar in 2019 from Long Beach CA, it was a super eye opener, and extremely beautiful. Like you mentioned, it bugged me out that everywhere I went everybody was staring at me too, and a lot of people coming up to me asking me to buy stuff everywhere I went. Although I am black, they just knew I wasn't from out there. It kind of had me bugging really. After I started breaking bread with everyone in Stone Town, and speaking more to people the longer I was out there, it was all love. They were even telling me welcome home. I love the motherland. I want to go to more places out there. Definitely could live there. Respect!

Joburg and Cape Town coloured hoods are similar but there are some differences, Joburg and Cape town coloureds use different slang and have different accents... similar to someone from NY compared to someone from LA or down South. Cape town coloureds are mostly of Muslim faith where as Joburg coloureds are mostly of Christian faith. Cape town hoods are more violent than Joburg ones even though gang culture is prevelent in both; Cape Town heads gangs and gang violence. Cape coloureds also remove their front teeth on purpose and Jo burg coloured seldom or rarely do. There might be more but the main differences are in the accents, the general culture is the same.

It goes to show that white government doesn't care about black ppl. Eg the gang violent can be solved in Capetown, yet they keep saying police is nationalized , they dnt have control over police in western cape, than how did Joburg fight zama zama zama, created an elite squad from JPMD. Which is a metro police department from Joburg. They have the same police in this western cape cities, y can't they do the same.

Africans dont understand our protest against cops. They think we Iive in fear of them and most are bad. In some areas they are worst than others and some areas it's not so much a issue. Our protests are against ALL bad cops wherever they may be. And even if one black is abused it's one too many. So, it's not so much how often or if it's a regular occurrence...it should never happen. Even if just a few are wrongfully abused in any area it causes us to rise up everywhere, even if it's not a problem in our area. Africans get the impression it's all over and all cops are bad. We African Americans say too many are even if not all are.

This just the Joburg hood. There's tons of places to see in Joburg and a lot of these places are nice. This is one of the many hoods we have in Joburg. But it's interesting to know there's some similarities.

I'm sure everyone knows South Africa, has more other foreign Nationals who reside in SA, not only fellow Africans but Literally almost every nation, black or white. But ask yourself why we never complain about, Congolese, Ghanaians, Sudanese, Tanzanians and so on to name a few. SAns have a high fighting spirit to build & make their territory a safe habitable space and if you go the opposite direction from that, they will deal with you, citizen or not. stop crying victims as if SAns are hateful to our own fellow Africans, come on fam.

@dangregory8321 if you can provide me with links to evidence of each of your claims, I will do whatever you will request of me. People are gullible, you included. You believe anything you read online. We don't have hate for Zimbabweans. It's a very tiny fraction of them causing havoc in SA but majority are hardworking individuals making an honest living. Now please respond with the links.

Btw Czech. Top Tip when you are in South Africa. Don't do the "African Accent", its not even an African Accent it just sounds really cringe and people will look at you suspect. Whenever you in public by yourself just speak in your normal accent. Rather stick to your American Accent and people won't ask money from you they'll just feel the need to protect you and show you around. South Africans see Black Americans as their long lost brother that we watch on TV and now that you are here they will want to show you everything that you don't know about them. But in general out of all African People, South Africans have an affinity towards Black America the most as we went through the same struggles. Keep your American Accent in South Africa it will make your experience that much better.

What a load of rubbish. The lack of self-awareness is amazing. Take a little time for introspection. All these people around the world cannot be wrong. Soon no country will let you in on account of your unsavory behaviors. It's not anything to be proud of.
