As mentioned from others again the Loto is the first of the Miniaturized Mobile Suits and a pretty popular one that put its Weapons Developer into the eyes of the Federation, SNRI (Strategic Naval Research Institute) would pretty much be put on the spotlight for their Formula Project which you seen one of their designs which is the F91 but that tank that's also from F91 Movie is also a Formula Project MS which its from the F50s series, other notable Formula Project MS are the F90 withs its massive Alphabetical Modules A-Z, course the F91 and also the F97 Series which would have its spotlight in the Crossbone Manga Series. Also to note again the majority of the Formula Project is made up of Miniaturized Mobile Suits.

Loto is the first of Earth Federation's transformable tank mobile suit series. It is also worth noting that Loto was only used by ECOAS(Earth COlony ASteroid), the Federation's special operations force, pretty much a black-ops division established to clean up Neo Zeon remnants after the 2nd Neo Zeon War(Char's Counterattack). Hence, that's why you saw all the armed soldiers running out of Lotos. ECOAS has a short history, probably because there were no more Neo Zeon remnants few years later.

The Loto was one of the first miniaturized mobile suits, a mobile suit that is much smaller than a normal mobile suit and has a even smaller reactor. The Loto is about 12.2 meters tall, which in comparison to the normal 18 meters that most mobile suits at the time were, was very small.

I just checked and most other Mobile Suits from the era where miniaturized mobile suits were most common, the average size of those mobile suits were around 15 meters. So the Loto is one of the smallest mobiles suits. Though there are some mobile suits that are smaller. an example would be the Petite Mobile Suit, at 3 meters. The Petite Mobile Suit is a unit made for civilian use and some military applications, but were not supposed to be frontline units, at most a harassment unit for military and most likely meant to repair and move stuff around. EDIT: I found one other mobile suit that is about as small as the Loto, the Thunderbolt Gundam version of the Acguy and that version was a special one meant for Daryl Lorenz's team. That Acguy was about 12 meters tall as well.

Favorite thing about the Gundam Unicorn anime has always been seeing the 'mook' suits fight. There is a lot more detail given to these fights in this season then there are in the various other ones IMO.

The Loto is cool and all, but it's not putting a scratch on the unicorn or any other powerful mobile Suit. The loto is not strong enough to destroy the Kshatriya (the green mobile suit), all it can really do is disable it for a little.

@@daisukeniwa402645 The Unicorn bit was a joke. We haven't watched Unicorn yet, so we'll offer no push back about your Loto vs Kshatriya statement. Just to add some clarity on our statements in the video; we were talking about a team of Lotos vs The Kshatriya, not a 1v1.

@@WadeWadeReacts It's smaller and can infiltrate into places normal MS can get into, but it's not a match for high-performance MS in an open fight, since it has a scaled-down reactor meaning it can't use power-hungry beam weapons that are now standard-issue for a majority of normal MS of the time, being restricted to projectile weaponry and the cutting torches (not even beam sabers) on the waldo arms. It's meant as a spec ops machine to get inside tight locations, infiltrate troops, and provide limited support for allied forces.

I love the Loto and it's one of faves. It's a shorty tho about half the size of the grampa gundam. If you buy a model kit of this, you can make 2 units for the same average price; same with the Ball. If you recall in F91, the MS the kids rode on comes from the Guntank/Loto line of MS.

Honestly the flash thing was cool. They were not there for the kshatriya. She kind of caught them out of position. The guy with the launcher was actually the pilot. He saw he was screwed fighting her in the Loto so he blinded her and ran. Kind of shows what spec ops can do. Really this was a complex plan trying to attack a full army unaware in their home base.

The D-50C Loto a Limited Production Transformable Special Operation MS develop into the F-50D Guntank R-44 and RIX-00PT GT-Tank palleted by Daguza Mackle and Conroy Haagensen and a ton of other random pilots for weaponry it has 2x Beam Burner, 2x Missile Container, 2x Long Cannon, Mega Machine Cannon, Machine Cannon and a Searchlight When it equal to the information that there is, we know that this is a ECOAS a military forces that kind of act in the dark so in return not much is known about this unit the only thing that we do know that it is a earliest known miniaturize MS and that this could carry a good amount of Soldiers into the battlefield and for cockpit if I know wrong, probably like 4 pilots could be inside while a small hanger bay on the bottom in return hold ECOAS random soldiers

Although it is a special forces suit. can come in many loadouts. 2:58 considering the kshatriya was turtled up, and only two were there, minus one was destroyed. not likely.
