I dont think Ive ever heard a better vocal performance in my life than when d'angelo sings how does it feel live. Overall prince and marvin are my two favorite artists in front of d'angelo, just because they were much more prolific. But this particular song, d'angelo on stage his most trusted people around him, pouring his soul out...not even do me baby or distant lover can beat that. In my humble opinion of course.
