Story 1: Okay, while this revenge was hilarious and mostly justified... my big question is why did no one complain to the building managers about this kids littering beforehand? I dont know, but i guess you have to do stuff like this in order to get your point across.... since simple conversations weren't working. Least his car was eventually banned. Story 2: I think the word the OP should be using here is "intentionally", not "conveniently". The 'friend' here is obviously doing this on purpose. Some people are just natural born takers and dont/wont give to anyone. If she can't even be bothered to wish you a simple 'Happy Birthday', then why should you give her anything and/or go to dinner with her? Story 3: Okay, if they wont tell you anything specific about your bf here, i would ignore them, plain and simple. If they genuinely had your best interests here, they would say something concrete, not just drop these stupid subtle hints. The OP talks more about his flaws and bad points then the friends. Until something major happens here, i would ignore them, but i would still keep an eye out here. He shouldn't be throwing away your stuff or demanding you quit your job. Story 4: I dont get what the bf's deal is here. He sounds like a major man-child here. I would be cautious moving forward in this relationship. This doesn't sound good in the least. Story 5: Yeah i hate it when people like that make very loud phone calls like that in public. Like, seriously, lower the volume or just text or something. The OP's payback here was pretty petty, but still warranted. Story 6: No way is the OP a jerk here and i would tell Heather to rack off here. Josh made the bowl for the OP many years ago.... so why on earth should the OP hand it over? And why is Heather demanding it? Talk about a headcase. If her attitude continues, i would distance myself from Heather and possibly Josh if he sides with her. Story 7: Yeah, it sounds like a lot of Florida drivers are bad.... least from what ive heard. Too bad the OP didn't have a dashcam or something (might want to get one), but at least they found a cop to go after this guy and eventually had him pulled over. Too bad we didnt learn more, but you really have to wonder how some people get and keep their drivers licenses. Story 8: Stories like this are exactly why i don't trust people and don't help strangers. This pregnant lady was 100% a decoy.

The final story is another fine example of why being a good samaritan is foolish. There are a lot of people out there who will play helpless/weak in order to scam others.

To the person with the Walmart grocery cart jacking, you might talk to your car insurance, they might be able to help you. Walmart does have security cameras, I don't know how long they keep records but, they won't just show you those videos you'll have to make a police report. Honestly if you've already left Walmart I would start by calling your car insurance agent, and see what they tell you.

Story 3: OP is in a bad relationship, and her friends notice but aren’t telling her directly…. This only lead to people distrusting friends and picking the controlling partner because at least one gave reasoning. OP need to get out because she is blinded but those friends aren’t helping you see it.

Also last story, be honest, tell the family that you did buy them gifts but someone stole them, you were tricked into helping a old struggling lady and didn’t notice the thief until it was to late and they drove off. Also file a police report, they will do it again and the police using store cameras to catch them is important.
