See below for all gear & music. A time-lapse shot during an awesome summer "storm" in Washington D.C.
Some interesting tidbits about this video. I took creative license as you may or may not be able to tell. The original time-lapse has no sound because my mics were off but more importantly there was no audible thunder or lightning strikes.
There was also no rain and thus no rain drops on the window. Music, thunder and lightning FX were all added in post production. I also froze a couple of the frames where the lightning was particularly good for extra effect. The end of the video is actual video I shot before the time-lapse.
Finally, what looks like a sunrise at the end is actually a sunset. So you see, there is lots you can do once you have good raw footage, a little imagination and a good editing suite. This was edited with FCPX.
