This has the best opening of any of the MLS insiders

I want more stories like this. Players who were fans growing up and now representing their team with pride. You never hear players say things like "I want to put my team back where they deserve to be. We have a winning history and need to be on top." You hear it all the time in Europe and i'm proud to hear it from a prominent MLS player like Hamid

Bill Hamid is one of the best keepers ever and I'm so glad that he plays for us! Vamos United!

Bill Hamid already made a name for himself. Soon he will be in roster that may be considered going into record for real. He may not be Howard but dude is a game keeper changer

World Class Goalkeeper. Deserves to be a starter at a mid-table Premier League Team. Will be #2 goalkeeper behind Guzan, once Howard and Rimando retires from the national team.

Bill Hamid needs to be the next starting Goalkeeper for the USMNT once Howard is retired, much younger and better than Guzan, come on Jurgen, you have talent to pick, Hamid is the future, I'm telling you now.

Hey, U.S. Soccer! Yes you! Get this man on the national team, and keep him there! Time is running out to develop new starting goalkeepers for the World Cup!
@williamnewton42428 жыл бұрын
yes him and Nick rimando!
@Emper0rH0rde8 жыл бұрын
+Camulbak Nick Rimando is too old, sadly. He's the exact same age as Tim Howard, and going into the World Cup with a starting goalkeeper who's over 30 is just a bad idea. We *did* that in Germany 2006, and look how that turned out (hell, half that team was over 30 or close to 30). Italy did that twice in a row, and guess how they finished in the two most recent World Cups?

Luis Robles is a decent gk, but he still gives up too many easy goals and doesn't play aggresively enough (I am a dual NYRB/Union supporter).

It is a Welsh accent from Wales in the UK. It is just Americans are less knowledgable about Wales as they know more about the Scottish, Irish and English, despite the fact many Americans have Welsh roots. Any American with the surname name Jones, Evans, Davies, Parry, Owen, Owens, Howell, Marvin, Maddox, Lewis, Reece, Yates, Pryce, Pritchard, Rice, Price, Powell, Morris, Morgan, Floyd, Elllis, Banes and Bale have Welsh roots because these are Welsh origin family names.
