Mechanically speaking, the “Rune Carver” background from “Bigby presents Glory of the Giants” could fix any problems with this subclass. It provides a table of runes and spells that can be cast by those runes.

Great video. One thing though: it was the shop keeper Gilmore who is a rune child in the CR Universe, not the sorcerer who nobody talks about.

@TheSinisterheroes No worries. Yeah I think we found out in EXU that Gilmore was a rune child. Tiberious was just, well extra I guess. But I think the it was either late vox machina or early exandri unlimited that the subclass was revealed

They were ahead of their time with a feature to use Sorcery Points before they got it. Now all subclasses begin at 3rd level. Before 2024, I'd use Variant Human for Metamagic Adept. Now I'd use Wood Elf for Pass without Trace.

Ok this is the second familiar subclass the first one is on the what is a bard video so here's the warlocks familiar subclass The pact of the otherworldly Familiar Your patron is a familiar of fathomless power that once belonged to a powerful legendary spell caster and now it has the desire to be the master instead of the servant your fate is forever no longer your own and in exchange it provides you limitless power Level 1 (for 2014) or 3 (for 2024) Minor familiar servant At this level your patron is empowering your minor magic when you cast a cantrip you can add an extra damage die or an extra attack to the cantrip your choice and you can cast any cantrip through your familiar patron you also learn the find familiar spell and it doesn't count against your spells known if you take the pact of the chain you can add an extra damage die or attack on top of the one you already are adding if you cast it through the familiar Level 6 A loyal promise At this level you can cast a spell at base level without spending a spell slot a number of times per day equal to you proficiency bonus the cost is equal to the spells level requiring multiple uses the higher the level of the spell Level 10 Proven loyalty When you cast a spell using your level 6 feature you can cast that spell at the highest level you can cast it at Level 14 Greater reward When you use your mystic arcanum feature you can cast the same spell multiple times a day equal to your charisma mod and you can up cast your mystic arcanum spells if you us multiple uses of this ability the level effect increases by one level for every use above one maximum of ninth level you can also use this to up cast your normal spells above 5th level if you want following the same rules

I'm particularly proud of this one it was inspired by wrath from the Drakkenhiem series on the Dungeon dudes channel highly recommend watching the series dungeons of Drakkenhiem is season 1 and shadows of Drakkenhiem is season 2 and fate of Drakkenhiem is season 4 there's a lot of episodes and it's worth the watch in my opinion

I am very familiar with the dungeon dudes. In all truth they are an inspiration for this channel. I really like how you build this one. It scales it gives you a very strong ability early on which is on par with all warlock subclasses. The power balance I think is cool with the abilities. The only issue I can see is just clarifying the wording on greater reward. Other than that top marks! This is pretty solid.

@@TheSinisterheroes basically to boil it down it allows you to have a pool of points equal to your charisma mod that allows you to use your mystic arcana multiple times or increase the value of your base spells or mystic arcana I should have clarified that better so thanks for the advice
