I love this subclass immensely it really makes you feel like Storm from the X-Men and I love it for it

This is a really fun sorcerer subclass. I like mixing it with tempest cleric for the flavor.

Hey been missing being able to see your content. Warlock first, but Sorcerer is a close second place and I like this subclass even if others think it weak. Flavor is important to insure you enjoy playing your character for the length of the game.

Yes I agree with you. I want to play a character I like playing, not one that hits max numbers. This subclass isn’t even week because as a sorcerer you get high damage spells and meta magic. You don’t need anything else.

One of my players played a tortle storm sorcerer and it seemed fun in play. I typically avoid playing sorcerer because of my frontline/gish building problem

You seriously do have a problem🤣😂🤣just make a gish if you want one. Stop bringing full casters that are not clerics to the front line 🤣😂🤣

Storm sorcerer is a good subclass but i prefer play this subclass with races like Triton

Yeah I can see that. I like to put connections with themes together so they fit really well, or at least it’s easy to build upon there natural world into these characters

How do i make this subclass broken? My DM wants us to powergame but i am already stuck as a storm sorcerer. And we're level 5 i need to make it so no matter what 100% of the time i can end combat by instakilling everything

The good news is You don’t really need to worry so much. You are a full caster. At level 5 you have fireball and lightning bolt. Those do enough damage on their own. Make smart choices with your spells. Your meta magics are gonna need to be smart choices specifically for damage. If you need more you could multiclassing into tempest cleric if you have the wisdom and get the channel divinity that will give you max damage. Or you can multiclass into warlock take fathomless and be ranged and snag that extra bonus action that’s based around level and not class level. Then you could always just quicken spell eldritch blast if your hurting. Or go hexblade and do your 2 attacks then bonus action booming blade or just lightning bolt if your nasty. Are you cool with being that kind of player?
