D.I.Y All the Time! Canvas Moon Phases

Hey everyone! So I have an obsession with the moon... comment a * if you do too! I knew I had to incorporate a moon D.I.Y in my room some how and thought moon phases painted on different size canvas' would look amazing. Thanks for watching (:
I did purchase the white canvas' and painted them black prior to painting the moons on them, but there are black canvas' available too.

I got an idea! Behind the canvas you can put LED lights and it will make the moon look like it’s glowing

Hello, I apologize for the late response. I purchased white canvases and painted them black. Some craft stores do sell black canvases, and I'm sure the DIY will look the same. Hope this helps!

What type of paint did you use? And is that a just a regular sponge?

Hi, I used black and white acrylic paint. I also purchased Martha Stewart multi-sized paint sponges, but regular paint sponges will do just fine. I hope this helps! >.
