I use citric acid to clean my dishwasher! I am going to make this for sure! Thank you

The citric acid is great for getting that hard water off this as well. I use it on my jars when I forget to add vinegar to the water.

Used a small amount for hand washing dishes. Dissolved in hot water (well water) left everything streak free and sparkling! Thanks

Thanks Jinnie. I made your washing machine detergent last year. Finally used it all and made another batch. I really love it, it works so well. I'm definitely going to try the dishwasher detergent too.

Hope you do one for homemade dish soap. I don’t have a dishwasher, but want to make all of our own cleaning products. I got everything for powder laundry soap, I made homemade scouring powder, and I use vinegar blend for cleaning. I still don't have a good dish soap recipe, though.

You got it..💕🇺🇸

Do you just put that in the soap dispenser of the dishwasher? And it doesn't cause any issues with the pipes (I've never used powdered anything in my appliances so I have no idea if it causes any issues with caking/buildup/etc).

I just mix the finished powder with a small amt of water and use in my energy efficient washer.

Jinne, I have been using the laudry detergent for a couple of years, and we love it. So, I made up a lot of the diswasher soap, (like a 5 gallon bucket.) However, it turned into a hard brick even with a locking lid. What do you use to keep it from sticking together. I even used several desiccants. Help, please!

Looking forward to trying this if my husband EVER installs our new dishwasher. A stupid little plastic clip broke in our old one so the top rack would randomly fall and break glasses and dishes. I’m thinking that if he were hand washing all the dishes, it might speed the process?!?❤🇺🇸

This is not related but, do you have any suggestions on cleaning or sterilizing your thick plastic 1 gallon containers before storing water? Thank you

Did I miss if you add essential oils? This looks really easy and I think I have everything except the super washing soda. Thanks as I've been wanting to make this type of soap.

no essential oils in dish powder. only laundry or cleaning product

I made it homemade dishwashing soap with kosher salt but it turns into rock in a few days. I wonder kosher salt is the problem? Suggestion?

I love the idea of making your own cleaning products, but I did think it should be mentioned that borax is very toxic if ingested. I do realize that the dishes would be well rinsed and dried before eating from them, but I would be hesitant to use it regularly. Maybe there is an alternative that could work??? Just a thought. Great video!
@asoulalignedhowgodhealshis66828 ай бұрын
I'm concerned about that as well. Can also use a few drops of dawn and vinegar pour. I hear that works great.
