Déjà Rêvé

Déjà rêvé (French for "already dreamed") is the feeling of having already dreamed something that you are now experiencing.
In this short film I tried to visualize that feeling through a seemingly endless search for a mysterious constellation - each time a bit closer, but never within reach.
Is the character waking up from a dream or perhaps living in it? A timeless cycle that keeps on looping for eternity? Or maybe it was all just a dream to begin with...
Animation was done in TVPaint with sounds and music from freesounds.org, mixed by yours truly
