the only vekoma boomerang ive been on is the sea serpant at wildwood nj. really fun ride. ill be going on flying cobras this summer. a suspended version of it seems really cool. i bet that was a blast 👍👍👍

It IS. It got taken down, set back up in New England, and renamed Golaith. So no surprise that it looks like it.

Same to me in Parque Warner’s Stunt Fall (my favourite row is the 14): the more back you seat, the highest you rise in the first tower.

@persianking44 This ride can only operate in 65+ degrees. Any less then that can cause the ride to slow down majorly and valley in the cobra roll or miscatch.

This coaster was plagued with problems in the lift system but definitely one of the best ever made. I wonder could it be redesigned using an LIM system instead of cables? I don't think LIM technology was perfected when this coaster design was first produced.

Any word on what is going in DeJaVu's place? Kinda sad...but, since I live in Montana and am near Silverwood, I still have one of these babys driving distance away (AfterShock--and they sell AfterShock tees and tin ornament dioramas hehe)---these Vekomas are the only kind of Vekomas I'll actually ride---I'd LOVE to see a dark ride version of one!

@NorthwestCoasters17 Oh nice your park was cool :-) Yeah I have no idea why they are moving it either--especially after MM made all the fuss of 'We have the most coasters in the world again' after the opening of Green Lantern--wouldn't this put them back to being tied with Cedar Point? Although, technically speaking, I think Cedar Point (from the vids I have seen) has better rides overall--I love X2, Tatsu and Apocalypse but there is more I wanna ride at Cedar Point hehe

The break downs were VERY frequent over the summer, but whenever I go there when it isn't blazing hot outside, the ride runs fine. Maybe the heat is what's hurting it.

steven11smith this ride always ran perfectly in spring time I was always there and would marathon this ride for 3 days ever since it was taken out I don't even bother with going in that back corner I just walk through there cause theirs nothing in that back corner and apocalypse will eventually rot away

@Coaster123ification If you go to six flags on the 17th which is a saturday you will not be able to cover the whole park unless you get a flashpass which are like 100$ each. If you go on sunday (the 18th) you still will not be ale to go on every ride but you'll probably get to go on every roller coaster give or take 3 or 4. Your best bet if you don't want to get a flashpass, go on tuesday or thursday. Hope I helped!

You know, it does make more sense for SFNE to have it instead of SFMM. Since the park operates seasonally, and the ride is down for at least a 1/3 of the year, its perfect for SFNE.

Six Flags is cheap, but smart. They used a marketing strategy. They took apart and rebuilt this at Six Flags New England. The people who have never been here but go to the other Six Flags would think it's a whole new ride, thus attracting more customers. The only problem is, this ride broke down too much when it was Deja-Vu, and still does as Goliath.

The new location for this coaster looks so unaesthetic. Its literally placed in the midway and the way it looked in the backdrop of Magic Mountain right next to Apocalypse made it look awesome. Now it's just placed right Next to a ANOTHER god damn boomerang. It's so weird and triggering. They could literally bring this back to SFNE if they wanted to right back into the place of where it originally was and add a whole new needed attraction to new england.
