Yes, its back, by demand! The 1MHZ crystal calibrators. I have received numerous e-mails over the years to revive the project. OK, here it is! I redesigned the PCB to be a bit more universal. The boards are manufactured by Pad2Pad. www.pad2pad.com No, they dont pay me to advertise.
Modules: The new design can be operated on DC (9-20vdc) or AC (6.3vac)
The power switch can be PC mounted or remote. The board measures: 1.5 x 2"

I have a small supply of the boards on hand. They are custom built per your requirements.
Cost is $50.00. The optional model in the aluminum enclosure is more. The optional model will fit most National receivers with an accy socket on the rear. It can be reconfigured for most other tube type receivers. Contact me if you'd like one. Sorry, I only ship in the USA. If you want one shipped overseas, you will have to arrange with one of the export services.
If this project is successful, meaning they sell, I will pull the trigger on a much larger quantity.

Nice Terry... :-) I Finished the restoration and realignment of my National NC-98SW receiver last month... Nice accurate and stable with no drifting after 5 minutes of warm up.... Love that old tube radio... !

Go ahead and laugh, but the closest I ever got to SW was a Radio Shack DX-394. It was such a POS that even local broadcast band reception was not worth tuning in! I left it behind at the trailer park/campground in 2007.

To piggyback off of @mackfisher4487 's question, have you ever done fleapower dx? I've always been intrigued by an old article (popular electronics???) with the title "Working the World on 1/4 watt." That power level, I am not sure of, since it's been many years gone that I read that article. IIRC, it was a single transistor, of the generic variety and a small # of components.
