Is this E15 AX1500 Extender compatible to any Routers? Or I must get the D Link AI Router Wifi 6 in order to be able to extender the range.

Dear Patrick Ong, Thanks for checking out the channel! The D-Link Eagle Pro routers are a family i.e. it is compatible with the Eagle Pro series. However, if used as a range extender for other brands of routers, it is possible as well. Set up with the Eagle Pro AI app or through WPS method. The password and SSID would be the same as the current network being extended. Bro I reset multiple times and everything and I have tried iPhone and Android setup apps and when it comes to joining the temporary wifi for the extender, it doesn’t even show up and on iPhone it says couldn’t find.

Can this extender be used as Access Point using its Ethernet port? Does it have good performance as Access Point? Also is it compatible with devices that have WiFi 5 and 4 version?

Hi Naceron, 1. TP-Link RE650 is not Wifi 6 extender 2. D-Link DAP-X1860 seems to be an extender only (no access point capability) So the E-15, which can be used as an AP or Extender, would meet your requirements. Best , Technology Tips
