Growing up in the Bx (10467 stand up) Orchard Beach was the closest we got to the French Riviera. But after a month in the French Riviera, I can confirm summers at Orchard Beach are more enjoyable & turnt than the Côte D’Azur.

When I was a kid we would have spaghetti sandwiches. I believe the reason why some Dominicans have spaghetti on the beach is because it's the less expensive, fastest to cook, meal to take to the beach. Also because 1 lb of spaghetti feeds a whole family.
