Oh, Sleeper! Holy shit! They are the definition of my 2010's metalcore era! I'm in no way religious, but I loved their messages and music. I had the pleasure of meeting them a couple times since I was in a band and our lead singer would book bands for local venues and got to book them a few times. Such good dudes! Hush Yael is such a good song and a beautifully told story of a real life tragedy. Oh, Sleeper is so good and I have all but forgotten about them because I dont think they have come out with any new music recently. I could be wrong though and will definitely be looking!

Oh, Sleeper is by far one of my favorite Christian Metal bands out there. The album: "Son Of The Morning" is a concept album, where the opening track: "Son of The Morning" is from Satan's point of view and he's just had enough, he wants to claim his throne and make a move on humanity because the world has lost faith in God. The rest of the album is just different song of how God works through them and people proclaiming their love to God. The last song of the album is called: "The Finisher" and that song is from God's point of view responding to Satan's song but GIRRRLLS!! ... God does not hold back and he puts Satan in his place. I don't want to ruin the last line of the album, because it explains the bands logo but also how that album ends, is how their next album starts and IF you girls react to it, I will come back and comment how the story continues !!! So, I've heard this song dozens of times when I was younger and I've never paid attention to the lyrics because I was young and just jammed out to the screams and guitar. But holy damn you guys at the end even got me teared up. I never knew the meaning of the song until now...I couldn't imagine the pain. I listened to this one and Vices life Vipers from them. That one is sooo good.

I am soo sorry for doing this to you guys lol it really is a devastating story but the mom had to keep living to fight the evil people in this world who took away her family. They are a christian band though, so I thought maybe that would give me some redeeming points to make up for the story behind the song. You guys are amazing though. Thank you for not being scared to show your true emotions during these reactions, this channel feels so real and I think that's why I love it so much.

One of my favorite songs ever. They aren’t a giant mainstream band but man that whole album is a masterclass in story telling. There is another song about vengeance for an abused daughter that is hard to listen to. Called The Family Ruin. So much emotion in it though and so good!

I am sure if people start requesting some specific mainstream songs in the comments then they will consider it, but I rarely see that happening.
