I'm over 58yrs old and it's been a long time since I heard good rock (to my tatse) and The Warning came to my life. I love them, good music, good lyrics, incredible energy, nothing fake or to sexy, juste pure talent and fun. You HAVE to watch them live to see how good they are and that their is no auto-tune or any gadjet add. They are so talented. Discovered these young women in 2022 and my faith was restored. Best live band I've ever experienced. Only band I've ever followed that doesn't have one bad song. They don't make filler or bad music. They are incredible song writers, arrangers, musicians, but more importantly they are some of the nicest, down to earth people I've ever met. They are the Villarreal Velez sisters from Monterrey Mexico. Daniela , Paulina and Alejandra. Dany on guitar and most lead vocals, Pau (pronounced Pow) on drums and some lead vocals, and Ale on bass and backing vocals. 24 22 and 19 today, they've been playing together over 10 years. Their straight cover of Enter Sandman, at ages 14 12 and 9, was posted for family and friends and went viral. They have opened for Foo Fighters, Halestorm, G'N'R', Def Leppard, Muse, and 3 Days Grace, and just finished a headlining tour in Europe. Their 4th album is due out on June 28. No, @mundanus84imperium is right. Now, I don't mean to criticize anyone, and I'm not one to obsess over this kind of stuff. I myself have difficulty pronouncing certain English words (Spanish is my native language), and I think Ah-lay is close enough to be considered acceptable, but it isn't the way it's pronounced in Spanish. To put it another way, the 'le' part in Ale is pronounced as in "lemon" (not "lay-mon", but lemon).

Three wonderful sisters, offstage they are wonderful kids (young ladies now), that once they get on stage they will blow the roof off an arena! The youngest sister, the bassist Ale affectionately called the ‘Thunder Goddess’ by fans. The middle sister Pau the drummer is power unleashed. Fantastic 1st-time reaction to The Warning Dallas and Andea! The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 5 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", and recently "AUTOMATIC SUN". The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #51 original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album). Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many. Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, and currently are only in their late teens and early twenties. They started in grade school! They came onto the worldwide scene with their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were only 14, 12, and 9! This KZbin video went viral and was just the beginning of what was to come. Time to learn the girls' names! Dany is the lead singer and guitarist, age 24. Pau is drummer and can be second lead singer, also does backups, age 22. Ale is the bassist and backup singer, age 19. All three also play piano as they are classically trained! Their full names are Daniella, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal. Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. I’m a very very old metal head / rock biker dude. The Warning yes three sisters from Mexico they are phenomenal and freaks. Super talented musicians and song writers. I suggest you see The Warning You have been warned Ted X talks. They do songs from their first album. Twenty Century Blood they explain their songs and lyrics of the album they were 11, 13 and 15years old. They produce & wrote without signing to a major record producer totally independent. That was 6 or 7 years ago Another two albums later they only signed with a record label so they could perform on a tour with The Pretty Reckless & Halestorm.. The contract with the record label is they have 100% say in the creative direction of the songs & albums that they produce. Something that is unheard of in the record industry. This band is pretty much bringing heart, soul & honesty and most importantly passion for music with a message. You’re going down a great worm hole of hard rock. A new album is coming out in June. I haven’t been this excited about a rock band in over 25 years because of what the music industry has done to push their idea of what bands should play and what to play. If you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that these Mexican sisters were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. They grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV. The kids all learned piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. Their first two albums were crowd funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense. These ladies are now 19, 22, and 24, and just finished a sold out tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They're headed to Japan, Canada, the USA, Europe, and other places this year. They already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for next February, and added another date there, due to demand. Their fourth album drops in late June. They are the real deal. Welcome the The Warnjng rabbit hole. It’s quite deep but lots of fun and you won’t be alone. Despite their ages of 19-25 they have been playing over 10 years as a band with 3 albums, 2 EPs and are about to release album four. Have toured around the world with big bands. Have a rock/hard rock sound but are not a metal band. Songs are well written with meaning as their priority is to give each song what it needs not trying to fit a formula. And by playing together and not demanding that each gets their part or time to shine. Hey Dallas and Andrea - Nice first reaction to these three sisters from Mexico who love to rock and are badasses doing it! First time on your channel and liked the vibe and enthusiasm. TWA (The Warning Army) has already starting to arrive so here is a quick summary: Dany (Daniela, Guitar/Lead singer, now 24), Pau (“Pow”, Paulina, drums and sometimes lead vocals, 22) and Ale (“Ah-ley”, Alejandra, bass and backing vocals, 19). The video you saw was from 2021 so at that time they were 21, 19 and 16. And believe it or not, last year they celebrated their 10th year as a band (that’s right, they started when they were 13, 11 and 8 years old)! There are many options so to keep it simple, I’ll make 2 suggestions: 1 - Evolve from their MTV VMAs performance in October 2023. It’s a terrific performance and often the first original song that folks get introduced to. 2 - Then I think you’ll also really like: Hell you Call a Dream official live from the Pepsi Center in Mexico. It’s phenomenal and was just dropped in March. You’ll see them bring the energy up a level, especially Dany’s voice (guitarist) and you will absolutely love watching Pau on the drums and Ale (“Ah-ley”) absolutely driving the whole song on her bass. Again really like your reactions. Already had subbed and am excited to see more of your reactions about this terrific band! Thx.

For the MTV VMA performance, I like to recommend BOTH "More" and "Evolve" together- for the simple fact that it gives a good representation of Ale's range when harmonizing on vocals. She goes low on Evolve, but higher on More.

Not exactly a new band but they are very young. They've been a band for over 10 years. They do not have a bad song. Three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico and they have three LP and two EP of original music out and are going to release their fourth LP at the end of June. I'd described them as a hard rock band and they mostly sing in English. I think they have 4 or 5 songs written in Spanish the rest in English (their second language). Oh, yeah, the drummer sings while beating the hell out of those drums. Unfortunately, she only sings about 1/4 of the times.

Great reaction ladies. So happy you decided to react to this band. Thank you to your request as well. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with this band of sisters. They not only have great music but if you get further into their lives… because it's possible with these 3… you'll learn they are beautiful people on the inside as well. Extremely humble & want nothing more than to perform for you! (specifically… if you meet them, i would imagine?) I hear nothing but beautiful stories from those that have met them. They're the real deal, it seems. They live in Mexico… but lately… on the road as they are in high demand. You should be proud to have chosen such a wonderful band for reaction. It was a wise choice, I'm sure you'll learn? Not everybody likes all of their music. I think you awesome reacting ladys have gotten enough info on our beloved band The Warning DPA Goddesses. All to say is that throughout the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s I experienced many festivals and live concerts in California and by far The Warning are sooooo much better than most bands I witnessed. I saw them live here in Guadalajara Mexico late last year and now I can't get enough wishing they'll come back to play somewhere near me. You have no idea of what you’re getting into. These ladies are incapable of writing a bad song. Watch the entire concert from Teatro Metropolitan from August of 2022. Choke is the video I saw 15 months ago that spiralled me into The Warning rabbit hole. There are so many of their songs that take the listener on a musical and lyrical super rollercoaster ride, with slow build ups, pauses, then extreme pounding cords and bass lines. The Warning is a once in a generation phenomenon. I flew down from Portland Oregon with my daughter to see them live over 6 months ago in Tijuana where they started with Disciple. Ale’s bass kicked me in the chest and knocked me over, then Pau beat me over the head with her drums and then Dany finished me off by slaying me with her guitar and vocals. Once you go down The Warning rabbit hole there's no way out, like Black Holes (which is one of my favorite songs of theirs). Warning: you will be innundated by The Warning Army!⚡️🤘
