Not gonna lie when I first click on the video I was a bit skeptical, I thought it was gonna be some half ass “jazz” remix. Basically just the original song but with a saxophone and maybe some sporadic piano in the mix in there. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised this turned out quite the enjoyable experience. You should really try your hands on some other songs from touhou too.

thanks, i've been thinking about doing other touhou songs but I'm stuck on which ones i should do

Hmm maybe something like Greenwich in the sky that song normally has great synergy with jazz and the like.
@aninhlenguyen97573 жыл бұрын
Or maybe even Satellite cafe Terrace I think that song has some great potential

@@aninhlenguyen9757 I agree, Greenwich in the sky has potential, it sounds a bit like that one big band song from Aladdin

@@Kronington I would definitely recommend Bhavaagra As Far as the Eye Can See. Pretty much set up for jazz. By the way, nice reading the chords on the bridge. It's got some good color.

this sounds like a collection of sampled kontakt instruments. definitely NOT real performers (although the baritone sax sounds very convincing)
