I imagine hell not to be a festival of devils and mischief, but rather a deep and dark hole where there is nothing. Fitting way to capture that mood since the title of the theme itself is named "Lullaby of Deserted Hell". Fantastic work!

Well it is in context, "Hell" is a city here and this takes place in "Old Hell" which was once the capital, due to an incident, there was a migration to a different place known as "New Hell" and Old Hell was abandoned. The thing is though is that there is a giant energy generation plant (imagine nuclear but runs on the souls of the damned) underneath the city and so there are a few who stayed behind to watch over it and keep it running. This is the OST of that.

Both the picture and the song are amazing. Like that guy said this picture is one of the best Orin picture. The way that the artist uses color and lights are masterful while the picture itself is a curious mix of the ocean and hell. Putting the song over such a fantastic picture, I imagine Orin being in this underwater hell, a desolate place with only fish’s soul around. This hard and ruff environment is harsh but there is a thing she got which is special and make her able to stay there. The thing can’t be explained in one word and is a hard thing to find but when you look in to the picture and see her with a smiling face doing the only job she know; handling spirits, you will understand what I was thinking.

I disagree with you. To hope for something is essential when it comes to chasing your dreams. You can't achieve your dreams without believing in yourself and hoping and knowing that the hardship you are enduring will be worth it. People nowadays tend to think its cool and hip to say edgy stuff like "hope is the path to dissapointment" no it is not, it is only then dissapointing if you fail to realize beforehand that what you are hoping for is not going to happen. I rest my case.

Upon hearing it, I never would have known that the artist actually came from Poland instead of Japan. But I have even more praise for the picture. It's drawn with an incredible colour scheme, and the touhou character has an, in my eyes, adorable expression on it. It's really cute, though I still believe there is something missing in that expression, for a very slight bit, but it's far better done than most artists could ever do. Well, at least in my opinion then. Still, real expressions look just a little bit different, and with slightly more "willpower" in it. This is often misunderstood by even the very skilled artists. I mean, she is grinning here, but she has her mouth open slightly. More realistically therefore, she is smiling with her mouth shut, and a grin appearing, and using eye muscles to grin too, so that her eyebrows would go slightly downward, and the smile more noticeably upward. Of course, the artist tried his best, but even though it's beautifully done, I recommend the artist to look even more at real expressions. Would a real girl have an expression like this, if you're trying hard to portray it as real, in any case? In my eyes, this is not the case. She is either surprised or smiling. In this picture, it looks like a combination. That is quite hard to imagine, especially in this pose, where it looks like she is going to look at the fish for a prolonged period of time, obviously fascinated by it, something which IS correctly drawn in this drawing. The eyes are definitely drawn fixating at something. So while it's a beautiful drawing, it could still be better. Nevertheless, I bought a drawing tablet sometime ago personally. The table's space is too small. Silly me. I'll be buying a new, cheaper one with which I do hope to have enough workspace. Then I hope to be drawing things too, finally. Anime is a huge inspiration, yeah, touhou isn't an anime, but the characters are still heavily inspired on manga, and there actually was a touhou anime spin-off a long time ago I believe. So it's a great drawing and I'll be saving it therefore, but: It could have been drawn even better imo. I would indeed say the artist is talented though. Also, if I'm nitwitting anyway, look at the location of her right ear, carefully. A human ear is located higher. The top of the ear should match the eye's location. This is definitely not the case here. Look in the mirror for proof of my statement. It's location is off. I would have appreciated it to be drawn more realistically. Since I don't have any real tools at hand I corrected it quickly in paint, I do this more often with sketches, sometimes. Nevertheless, I don't have any real tools at hand so it looks like crap what I made to correct it. But if I compare one with the other, I'm reminded of the correct aesthetics. It doesn't really look better, but I can obviously tell which of the two is more realistic when compared. That said, anime/manga drawings in general are not meant to be realistic. But sometimes it is good to apply this thinking method, just to "stay real", I think, with both feet on the ground, etc. Especially with the crazy anime world many Japanese people have. Maybe sometimes that makes it become difficult to see what is real and whatnot. After all, I think anime is creative, but also mass-production most of the times. Yes, touhou is a game etc. Don't need to start about that. You know what I mean.

The reverb really makes this piece - without it it'd just sound like another boring midi piano arrangement. The piano vst isn't particularly great and the arrangement isn't anything special, but the reverb is just 👌.

Yeah man that's what I felt in the first place when I heard this arrangement for the first time. It is not that it stands out from other arrangements like you usually hear from TAM's or Marasy or Goodwood's work but there was something unique to this arrangement that I couldnt put my finger on it so I guess thats the reason I liked this arrange and ended up sharing it in this channel and its the thing you just shared with us so thanks for the comment mate

It's called "extra ears" and they are for characters with more than one pair of ears. Most commonly this means animal ears + normal human (or pointy) ears of course and I still don't know why artists draws extra ears on their chacaracters in the first place. It's like they either have animal ears for decoration or have them as an extra perception purposes which is really nice since it kinda boostest one hearing capabilities to the maxiumum.
