Thanks for the idea to do this! I’ve come up with 52 declutter tasks and am doing one each week by drawing them from a jar. I ended up with the under the bathroom sink this week too! I haven’t done it yet, but seeing you had this same task and the process of you doing it is motivating me! I decided to do a savings plan along with this where I also draw a number from 1 - 52 from the jar each week and save that amount of money in a separate account. The declutter tasks are on yellow papers and the numbers are on green papers. It makes it interesting and fun! A game! And in the end I have a cleaner house and more money in the bank! 💕😄

You could also get rid of the basket from Scott’s drawer. I didn’t see that it served any real purpose. I can’t believe it took you all of 30 seconds to organize your make up. I remember watching 45 minute videos of you going through all your make up. You really are quite amazing. You’ve come a long way and I’m so proud of you.

Very good video. I have realized that from all your past decluttering you have gotten rid of so much stuff that now when you declutter it is quick and easy. Even your kitchen junk drawer video 5 was quick and easy. Great job!

Under our sinks (bathroom and kitchen) we put vinyl floor tiles on the bottom. You can find the peel and stick ones on sale at flooking store or Lowes or Home Depot. This makes clean up easier if you have a leak or spill and protects the b ot t om of your cabinet.

You have come a long way, Sophia! I've watched your channel for a long time and I remember your window makeup table that was full of cosmetics! And look at you now! Over time, you've inspired me. Lovely Sophia 💜, Life Happens everyday in our little home 🏡 and We love this series. It is so random and different and fun at the same time because you never know what your task will be. What a great idea 💡. Under the sink really is annoying because of the plumbing, it seems like for as long as there have been sinks and vanities that either the plumbers design or cabinet designs would have changed to come up with something that is different and works underneath the bathroom and kitchen sinks. You can use clear nail polish for the bottom of the shave gel can to prevent the rust rings 🙂

I believe an added shelf would really help you. As creative as you are you could build a wood shelf with simple legs where you could set your baskets with more space than now. You can even buy one that is made to fit around your pipes. Pinterest has some great DIY ideas. One more hint, take a bar of soap or and old pillar candle and rub along the tops of the drawers for a smooth glide when pulling open. Have a great week👍🏻🥰

I cleaned my master bath cupboards in July 2019. I clean and straighten weekly, but I emptied, decluttered, cleaned and reloaded last summer and they are still in good shape.

I keep q-tips in a mason jar. You could do that with your other cotton rounds as well just have q-tips in one and cotton round in another so you know how much you have.

No real vanity .Just a small shelf for clean towels. I did redo my small bath closet but is sparse. Check out Peter Walsh. He has a good annual January declutter series too. He is using a different approach this year.

That was great! Looks so clean and minimal. I was thinking, you have so few nail polishes that you can get rid of that box and put them in the caddy on the counter in the long compartment in the front. That way you will see them and use them. 😁

I clean combs and brushes once a week. Glad you system works for you. I Like the minimal approach. only basics and nothing else. My makeup consists of one mascara, one eyeliner, one blush and 3 shades of lipstick. Works well for me.

I hated the area under my kitchen sink - it frustrated me just like you with your vanity. Just like you, my solution to avoid any frustration is to not use it for storing any supplies - just a bin and 2 cleaning products. Much happier now! 😀

The bathroom vanity is one of the few places in the house that I tend to keep very clean and organized. I haven't always been this way, but several years ago I deep cleaned ours and I've kept it that way ever since. If only I did that for the rest of my house!

Things fall apart, the center cannot hold. Entropy of the house. Every once in a while additional energy needs to be injected into the house, so we can continue to coast through iur daily routines. Great video! So often a task iI don't want to tackle, I become absorbed in it after I begin. The initiation reticence is what I most need to overcome. How often do you use hairspray? As infrequently as the curlers and blowdryer?

The before looks neat and nearly empty compared to mine. Try using hair conditioner for shaving cream. It works and you can buy the really cheap stuff.
