Dé Róiste's Incredible Irish "Meat Boat" BBQ Challenge!!

A&Z #1083 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus De Róiste's Incredible Irish "Meat Boat" BBQ Challenge hosted by De Róiste's Smokehouse Bar & Restaurant in Ballinderry, Co. Tipperary, Ireland!! After finishing up our 6-state Midwest USA Tour, ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I flew across the pond to Dublin, Ireland so we could spend 40+ days exploring most of the major cities and areas around Ireland. During our travels, I attempted 16 Irish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #7, we headed to De Róiste's Smokehouse Bar & Restaurant located in Ballinderry, Co. Tipperary, Ireland so Katina and I could each attempt and help kick off their new Irish "Meat Boat" BBQ Challenge which was so incredibly delicious!! I had 1 hour to feast on a full rack of smoked BBQ pork spare ribs, 1lb of juicy pulled pork, 1 footlong hot link sausage, 6 organic smoked BBQ chicken wings, and portions of Irish beef brisket, wild boar, and beef cheek. There were sides included as well, and I was trying to become the first champion to win my €120 incredible Irish BBQ feast free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the "Meat Boat" Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Dé Róiste's Smokehouse Bar & Restaurant for the wonderful food, drinks, dessert, and hospitality!! Special thanks to everyone from around the Ballinderry area who came to watch and meet us that weekend afternoon. We appreciate everyone in the Co. Dé Róiste's Incredible Irish "Meat Boat" BBQ Challenge in Ballinderry, Co. Tipperary, Ireland (€120):
- Dé Róiste's Smokehouse Bar & Restaurant has been serving Co. Tipperary for a few years now.
- Dé Róiste's is widely known for serving delicious smoked BBQ, burgers, wings, and lots more.
- Breakfast is available on weekends and be sure to enjoy their incredible outdoor dining area.
- They have hosted food challenges before, but Katina and I were the first two to try this one.
- There is a full rack of smoked pork spare ribs, 1lb of juicy BBQ pulled pork, and then portions of Irish beef brisket, wild boar, and beef cheek. There is also a footlong hot link sausage and a southern fried chicken breast fillet. In addition to all that, there are 6 organic smoked barbecue chicken wings.
- The incredible "Meat Boat" platter includes Dé Róiste's very popular Ultimate Smokehouse Burger.
- For sides, there is salami macaroni & cheese, homemade garlic mashed potatoes, Irish Cajun coleslaw, and a piece of homemade cornbread covered with honey butter.
- Winners earn the €120 BBQ feast free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Dé Róiste's Wall of Fame!!
